  1. Both Episode I and Episode II are great reads, Swampy. They bring back good memories of your Walls of Text that would appear so often on our forums. :) As someone who came into the game (and signed up with the Legion) just a few days after the end of GWIII, this really helps me understand what was going on back then, when I was but a noob. Sure as hell explains why so many Legion Hall of Famers aren't there anymore, though not why most went to OBR. :D

  2. EDIT: Fifth partner found again. We no longer need lumber and already have the following:

    -Iron (New Milwaukee)

    -Spices (New Milwaukee)

    -Pigs (Valitur)

    -Wheat (Valitur)

    -Cattle (Brd-Arfcomistan)

    -Sugar (Brd-Arfcomistan)

    -Aluminum (Igbo people)

    -Fish (Igbo people)

    -Marble (Rage117)

    -Water (Rage117)

    -Lumber (???)

    -*any* (???)

-Bonuses are Fast Food, Construction, and Beer once the circle is complete.

Any second resource not on that list would be appropriate, though lead and coal would provide extra bonus resources (Scholars or Steel). Uranium couldn't hurt either as all of us are or are close to nuke-capable range. PM me in-game if you're interested in never worrying about setting up trades ever again.

    List of modifiers:

    Initial infrastructure cost: -33%

    Infrastructure upkeep: -18%

    Population increase: 27.5%

    Citizen income increase: $2.00

    Population happiness increase: 11.5

    Initial land cost: -15%

    Purchased land area increase: 8%

    Environment: +1

    Soldier increase: 35%

    Soldier cost decrease: $-3.00

    Soldier upkeep cost: $-0.50

    Tank upkeep cost: -5%

    Aircraft cost decrease: -8%

    Aircraft limit increase: 10

  3. Oh, I hate you... Trade you my Gew. 88 for the RPK? :awesome:

RPK is better suited these days for fending off hordes of brainless zombies NPO stooges.

Sorry, no deal - I picked that RPK up for $408 with shipping and fees. Even D.B. Cooper didn't get that big of a steal... :P

  4. Love 'em or hate 'em, everyone can agree that FAN's announcements are funny as hell.

    o>

    SALUTE!

FAN... laughing from the bleachers as the world stabs itself to death in the dirt.

Oh, and since it's our birthday and the end of the world, have some gun pr0n.

I nutted after seeing this, though I like the finish on my M44 better.

Dude, you forget to mention the coke.

No birthday is complete without tons of blow to go with the hookers and guns!

    And some gun pron...

Yes boys, that's a break from the usual gun pron. I figured since this was a special occasion and all we should include a fine piece of ***!

    I nutted here too. :)

Also, SirNightcrawler, thank you for the .50 BMG pr0n. I never get tired of it. Of course now that I've enjoyed everyone else's gun pr0n, I'll have to supply some of my own:

Romanian RPK (7.62x39), Russian M44 carbine (7.64x54R), FN Five-seveN (5.7x28), and enough ammo to fend off even the most vicious of zombie attacks... :)

  5. Welcome to the black team! Black team is obviously the most fun team in all of Planet Bob, especially now that the two of you are here. :) You should stop by some time so the rest of ML can meet the new neighbors.

Oh, and I also have no fear, because wain is in commandz. ;)

  6. "Pick your friends and die with them." With this treaty, the second half of that may not be an issue. Even in a zombie uprising situation :)

    o/Elysium

    o/Molon Labe

    o/bunch of ex-Legionnaires ;)

  7. "I have ever said but one prayer unto Him, a very short one, 'O Lord, make mine enemies ridiculous' and he has granted it".

I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the first person to sig this.

Also, the idea of Teh Evil NPO Conspiracy is older than my nation....old idea is old.

  8. Ivan, I joined the ranks of Planet Bob far too recently to have been a party to the greatest of your accomplishments nor was I ever in a position to get to know you as more than a historical figure. Even though my first and longest home was the Legion (which was, at the time, a slightly anti-NPO place...), there is no doubting that your actions have made an enormous impact on the history of this community. Even though you are leaving, your legacy will remain and your name will forever be remembered by not just the Orders, but by everyone who cares to know the events of the elder days. Even though we were aligned on opposite sides for so long, I will miss your presence - if nothing else, life was interesting with you at the helm of the Empire.

I don't need to edify you or your accomplishments any more, your Pacifican brethren can do a much better job of that than I can. Just know that even though I did consider you as an enemy for so many months, I respected you then and I respect you now. Good luck in that fantasy land some people call 'real life.' :) If you are as successful there as you have been here, you will go far.

    o/ Ivan
