Curious who these certain other alliances are.
I know CCC at one point literally had no admissions process at all, and I think other alliances have done similarly. TFD, when it existed, didn't ask about member's pasts. You could probably find more if you looked around.
I was also implying a jab at SNX for having had you as a member, but I suppose that's technically not a part of "admissions". -

The rest of the members of MI chose to join. They've seen how stupid decisions their leaders are prone to making before. If they did not want to support their leaders in future bouts of stupidity, they should have left MI. I thought it was a long-standing principle in CN that membership is ultimately responsible for their choice of leadership?
That's fair, I still think diplomacy should have been attempted, and as I implied, I didn't expect it to yield any results. This is because I'd be more concerned with the leaker than MInc, but to each their own on that issue.
So the version of diplomacy you're suggesting is essentially "Hi, we're going to roll you"? Diplomacy seems rather futile when the desired outcome of it is war as a punishment for spying. It seems more straightforward to do as they actually did, and just declare the war right away. -
You are right I'm assuming that they would get into NG.but my point stands you can replace NG with anyone else like NPO,NoR and anyone else. Question is would your opinion be the same
To be fair, Pacifica does not have a walk-in-the-park admission process either. Perhaps not as... stringent... as NG, but we do deny sufficiently bad applicants. Unlike certain other alliances. -
I, for one, am enjoying the squirming in this development. Now the noble people waging war over sanctions are trying to weasel out of spying being a valid CB? A more cynical man might suggest that their opinions fit what's convenient at the time...

Those were usually "dissolutions" or "instant cancellations" of MD treaties, though, not of protectorates. SNX is truly breaking new bridges today. -
I too find it morally reprehensible when my allies choose to defend themselves.
Indeed, they lack that virtue which SNX truly has -- the truest of CN virtues -- pixel hugging. We should all humbly and docilely approach this decree so that we may some day learn to emulate them. -
I, for one, blame R&R. Active, pff... Who ever needed that. I, for one, manage perfectly well only logging on once a week.

The community as a whole has definitely aged a fair bit. The average new player seems to be older nowadays than they used to be, too. -

Data on literally every nation's slot usage, according to my gathered data. Same disclaimers as before apply: This data is not entirely comprehensive of this year, so true numbers will be somewhat higher. I make no guarantees at all about the quality or the accuracy of the data -- it is perfectly possible that there is some bug somewhere in my scripts. That said, I haven't found any such bugs, so far.
