    So you guys had an awesome rivalry, and instead of resolving that, you decided to...ally? And that is why CN hasn't had anything going on in years.

    At 5k infra, and with far less than a full wonder set, I am one of the downtrodden waifs for whom you presume to speak. Even with a negative event and the poor-to-the-rich proposal in place, those two events you're railing against boosted my collection by more than 10%. I raise my gruel spoon defiantly in your direction, and demanded that the huddled masses have more competent representation.

    This idea might have some legs. Maybe you could do tiered bonuses based on reaching certain NS levels?

     

     

    I'd support this more than end-of-round NS. It'd take some doing to ensure that those thresholds are high enough that people couldn't i) reach them in ten days and largely abandon their nations, or ii) end up with a bunch of people simply ticking some boxes while having no interest in genuinely taking part.

     

    Might have to make it something of a hybrid: link your SE/TE nations and reach 10k NS AND 100k casualties (or some other figure that most full-round participants would hit, but would be difficult to game) and receive an SE bonus equivalent to the referral bonuses. Wouldn't want the bonuses to be anything terribly massive, just enough to provide incentive.

    The recent outbreak of conflict between III Percent and [insert name of one-man AA here] has laid bare a longstanding problem within our community, a story of misused rights and wantonly exercised power that has spanned the existence of Bob itself, damaging the very firmaments of the world and leaving many unwilling or unable to assert their agency over the events of this plane. Too often have we seen individuals take to the OWF and mercilessly abuse that which cannot fight back; today, we announce our refusal to stand silently and watch this maltreatment continue. This is an injustice up with which we shall not put.

     An Optional Protectorate Agreement Between Sengoku and The English Language
     
     
    Clause I: Sengoku agrees to do its utmost to protect the English language from those that seek to do it harm. In return, the English language will overlook any mishaps that arise when hartfw has been drinking, or his keyboard is broken for the third !@#$@#$ time this week.
     
    Clause II: Sengoku has the option, but not the responsibility, to defend the English language by any means necessary. This may take the form of relentless spell-checking, links to grade school resources, or even military action if necessitated. The English language is not required to likewise defend Sengoku, though it may if desired provide the occasional snappy comeback.
     
    Clause III: This treaty is eternal; it cannot be cancelled, though it can and almost assuredly will be forgotten by Tuesday.

    Congrats to our allies in GLoF and Umbrella!

     

    I hereby motion to remove Sengoku from AZTEC to free up a slot for Umbrella.

     

    Convenient excuse.

     

     

    Congrats to two alliances that are excellent and excellently allied. Suddenly feel like the little brother with the thick glasses that isn't cool enough for an Umbrella treaty but still you have to drag him to the park because your mom said that she wouldn't give you $10 for snacks otherwise and ugh he just sits there and looks into the distance.
