    Not really. Remember, no one had a lot of infra. The top nation was only 10k, which makes the whole thing a lot more damaging overall. Furthermore, you had 2 ground attacks total per day. If 3 people are on you, they could have 6 on you, while you could only hit 1 or two people.

    point taken, I had forgotten about the attack limit.

    Everyone overestimates Defcon. It's seriously not that huge of a deal. Everyone is always "LOL Defcon5 WHAT A NOOB EHEHEHEH!"

    Seriously, it helps, but it's NOT "Game Over!" if you're in D5 and have to attack. For srs. :P

    This guy speaks truth. One of my IRON buddies was attempting to do a defcon switch in order to collect over reset. He got locked out by the busy screen (/me stabs the busy screen) and was attacked while in defcon 5. He successfully defended against both attacks. He then proceeded to lose his aggressive counter attacks while in defcon 1.

    Major lulz.

    I thought NoV was going to get crushed on the ~ side. Good thing they stabilized their front and proved me wrong.

    On the UJP side I don't really know which alliance was better, but I fought 3 GOONs and 1 GOD. UncleJam of funkpolis is in 6 wars and it still took me and 3 buddies 3 freaking tries in a row at blitzing him to finally anarchy him. Hes still crushing my airforce too.

    King Ayden of GOD was a very good fighter who traded blow for blow straight up with me for several days until he got jumped by 2 Wolfpack fighters. He was very honorable the whole war and I am proud to have fought him equally.

    you're making a mistake. People have been saying this after every single big war since the dawn of time. There will be incredible drama and rivalry and untold stories of greatness and stupidity, valor and cowerdice, kindness and cruelty for the many ages of CN's future existance until in some far off distant day, the end of the world will come and we will be judged by the Great Overlord of the Universe, Admin.

    HoD's is better because it gives a sense of the front lines, flanks, raiding parties and support. Now all you need is a GPA picnic party on a hill overlooking the battle, the gentlemen in tailcoats and top hats looking through telescopes and the ladies with flouncy long dresses and small puppies observing through binoculars. Of course everyone is filthy rich. ;)
