I am letting you off the hook. You paid millions of dollars for a product you feel is worthless and is headed for a market crash. I am right here, right now offering to pay the same price you paid for that very commodity. If you believe that either a) the tech market is headed for a crash or B) tech is now completely worthless and you wasted those millions of dollars then you should be JUMPING ALL OVER THIS DEAL. The fact is... your not. Because you realize we are all right, and your wrong... but it's hard for you to admit your wrong. And if you don't believe your wrong, then here is your chance to "Screw me over".... lock me into this horrid tech deal, quick, GO GO GO.

I'm still waiting... All you people who lost "hundreds of millions of dollars" on your tech deals. This is your chance to recoup your losses.... you all seem to have grown silent all of the sudden. Hrm... curious... coincidence?

I will seriously buy every single piece of tech in your nation. I will assume you purchased it at 3 million for 150 tech, so all these hundreds of millions of dollars you lost (or, you know, doing simple 5th grade math... the 12 million dollars you lost) I will GLADLY give you for your tech. Sound fair?

And this should be no problem... seeing as how many people just got screwed out of so many millions. People like us should be commended for offering such a wonderful service to society... falling on our swords and carrying the heavy burden that is all that tech. But out of the goodness of my heart I will help these people, it's the least I can do.

No... NS is still an imaginary number... it means nothing. Unless you fell out of nuke capable range (a VERY small few)... this change had ZERO affect on your nation... but some of you people are acting like admin just killed your mom or something. And those defending it so vehemently are doing so for 2 reasons: 1) Educating the masses 2) Trying to prevent admin from rolling back a positive update because the dumb masses didn't initially like it.

Tell me about it... I have zero desire to switch out of MK... but the intelligence of some of these Gramlin folks has me duly impressed. They never understood the value of tech raiding (contrary to many arguments made by yours truly) but on all other issues I have to say these guys are top notch.

Hell, Admin even said that when everyone started complaining he was going to direct them to complain to (DAC)Synyzyg.... and I believe he is the head of Gramlins who pushed for this change

Rank is a meaningless number that apparently you had your e-penis tied to, so when it got chopped by 75% your virtual penis got chopped by 75%. If you stopped looking down your pants and actually looked at the world around you, you would realize nothing has changed but the size of your e-peen, which no one cares about anyway.

To appease you fears, admin definitely understood WHY this needed to be changed in the discussion topics in the suggestion box forum, so I don't see him giving in to the bawwers. But as an appeasement method I fully support the additional 0's method. Hell, even just one additional 0 and most people would probably be praising admin... which just goes to show how dumb people really are. You keep saying how you got screwed... but you haven't told us exactly how yet. You still make the same amount of money, you can actually attack a larger range of people now, your military power in combat is exactly the same, and your rank is probably +/- 1% of where it was before this update. So exactly how did you get screwed? You keep dodging this question. If admin had arbitrarily lowered everyones NS by 90%... it wouldn't change anything. In the same way, this didn't change anything. All it did was put a REALISTIC value to tech, not the over inflated 20 NS that it had. OH NO YOU HAD AN ARTIFICIALLY HIGH NS THAT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN SMOKED IF YOU HAD ANY COMBAT!! Now you know you aren't as strong as you thought you were. Stop bawwing and spend some time making your nation better. You will accomplish more.

You know you must be on the wrong side of the argument when Doitzel and I are arguing the same side Now if only Joseph Thorne, Pius, theblitz and Walford jumped in here and sided with us hell would be freezing over right quick.

For those of you that think Tech deals have completely dried up: You still get 250 NS per aid slot per tech deal. Assuming the price of tech stays roughly the same (1-1.5 million for 50) it is still VASTLY cheaper to buy tech to boost your NS than infra. For a nation like mine at 4999 infra, I have to spend 1.5 million to gain 20 infra. Thats 60 NS. If I do a tech deal, that same 1.5 million buys me 250 NS. Tech is still a good value in boosting NS, just not as good. And for those nations with 10K+ infra, the cost differences are even more startling. This WON'T affect the tech market at all... tech is still the most effective way to boost your NS... it just isn't as crazy good as it was. Think people, THINK.
