  1. OOC. I have no idea. Apeldoorn seems to have been liberated. And I think that it should be a good idea to swing west and make up camp around Nijkerk. And leave destruction of the 15th Division to the Allied Airforces, the local National Guards and the Finns. ***TOP SECRET*** We ask American Forces to meet up link up with other Allied Forces in the area around Amersfoort and form up positions around Nijkerk. We ask you to deploy as much artillery as you can muster. *** Top Secret*** The large port of Antwerp is ready for use. From there on it should be practical to march on Eindhoven, Uden, Nijmegen, Arnhem. We ask you to deploy around Barneveld.
  2. *** SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE*** We understand that there are some problems within the Imperial Armed Forces and we therefore ask to relinquish control of Maastricht Beek Airport to local forces so the (little) space on the airport can be used for incoming troops and make up camp around the village of Margraten, Limburg. We have asked local civilians to provide the Imperial Army with whatever is required.
  3. ***TOP SECRET*** We advise you to follow the route Sittard, Venlo, Nijmegen as the Nijmegen Road Bridge and Arnhem Road bridge are the only bridges across the main rivers that haven't been blown up. There is no damage on bridges and roadways in the Province of Limburg either so your trip should progress well. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that we have to ask you to take a detour.
  4. *** TOP SECRET*** Your presence is requested at Doorn- and to link up with Dutch forces in the area. Welcome to the Netherlands and thank you for joining the war. ***TOP SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE TO KITEX*** We wish you the best in your enterprise. May the Almighty favor your noble undertaking. At this moment Allied Forces all along the front line flex their muscles in anticipation of the liberation of the still occupied part of the Republic of the United Netherlands. OOC. I think he flew in a brigade or sorts. I am not sure. At least I am counting on that. If not- lol- we could have like a wave of men along the front of Nijkerk to the river Rhine...
  5. *TOP SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE* We are designating Eindhoven Airport, Maastricht Beek Airport, Air Strip Gilze Rijen, Brussels Zaventem Airport, Antwerp Deurne Airport and Air Strip Deelen to the use of the Imperial Forces. That means that effectively all airports and airstrips in the southern and eastern part of the country are at your disposal for bringing in your massive armed forces. If ports need to be used we dedicate Antwerp, Nieuwpoort and Kales for the use of your troops. * SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE* We think that a mistake was made by our liaison officer. The designation is 28 kilometers west towards Beverwijk.
  6. *TOP SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE* We thank the Lu Empire for their entry into the war. Tank units will have little use in Holland at the moment and they should be deployed around Doorn but we are asking you to send as many DUKW's and other amphibious crafts as the Army can muster. Most of Holland is flooded and tracks are mined so we will have to go in there carefully. We are asking the Army to deploy in a line running from Nijkerk to Doorn. OOC. Wow ! That means when the Lu Empire arrives and we attack Holland and Utrecht then that resistance is effectively futile. 90.000 men !
  7. *TOP SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE* Does that mean that your government to contribute troops to this war ? We would like to thank your support and presence.
  8. *SECRET* You seem to be located way east of the dropzone and the area on which you are now is NOT SECURE. Withdraw from there ASAP before the enemy could take you under fire. Move east for some 29km's. WITHDRAW ASAP. OOC: you are lucky lol. It is only perhaps several meters deep. You must have followed the course of the Noord-Hollands Kanaal *TOP SECRET* The Provisional Government of the Province of Friesland and the Frisian National Guard are designating the ports of Harlingen and Sneek for use by the Allied Forces.
  9. OOC: Hartinge ? I take it that you mean Harlingen, Friesland ? That would indeed make a good port. But since there is no resistance in that area ( it's controlled by the Frisian National Guard and thus friendly) you could just walk in.
  10. OOC. It would be too shallow to make it to Hilversum (plus the lands that are flooded are not so deeply inundated. Perhaps around 30cm to 1 meter). Harderwijk or Kampen would be your best bit. Hilversum has not been flooded but that particular part of the Zuiderzee which is located some miles north of it was not deep. I would suggest taking over Kampen and use it as a massing port. Delfzijl too is excellent and has an sea port while Kampen is located is located along the River IJssel. Unloading at Kampen or Harderwijk would be hellish because of all the shallows and we would have to erect a Mulberry Port or construct cranes and, rails and warehouses. Anyways - we can be very happy that this is summer. ^^ We should do this in winter LOL
  11. " The Republic of the United Netherlands, whose in effect exiled government now is located in Brussels, Brabant, too applauds this move from their Kriegian alliance and their French neighbors and expresses it's desire to sign a similar treaty with the French after the war- in Rijssel, Flanders or as our neighbors would call it: "Lille".
  12. *SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE* We would like to thank our friends in Kitex for joining the side of the Allies and of the Netherlands. We are grateful for your presence and we are currently mopping up pockets of resistance in the East and massing for an attack on Utrecht. We advise the Armed Forces of Kitex to use Antwerp for any naval transportations and Eindhoven and aistrip Deelen for airlifts. We are asking for your forces to be assembling at Leusden, just east of Amersfoort, Utrecht.
  13. *TOP SECRET* We request that the landings take place on a front between Zandvoort and Hoek van Holland. This will mean that The Hague is in reach. Dutch artillery has opened up and fire and lead is raining down on Utrecht. The forces massing around Doorn are on standby- their initial objective will be Bunnik. Dutch troops around Doorn are ready. We are boarding our YPR's and trucks and rushing west as soon as the order is given. We expect that poison gas may have to be used. We are awaiting the confirmation for an all-out assault. At this moment some lone units of the National Guards of Holland and Brabant have crossed the river setting up observation posts in the Biesbosch and keeping the Allies informed when it comes to the rise of the tides, weather forecasts and troop movements. The troops around Amersfoort are moving towards Soesterberg. Distance to Utrecht: some 17kms We are requesting that the Finns (thank heavens they have arrived) will move south towards Amersfoort as soon as possible and link up with Dutch forces belonging to the Mobile Group tank/Limburgse Jagers. OOC: I have withdrawn my troops to villages and forests close to Hoogeveen and my troops at Amersfoort are at the moors some 3 kms way from the city. So where you were the only one getting payloads OOC. Basically what I did is to form a Waterlinie- locking him up in Holland. I did that to make sure that we had time to regroup in the South. Now that will become a drag when we are to liberate Holland. Also in Zealand key dikes were blown up- particularly in Goeree Overflakkee and around the eastern part of Walcheren and on Tholen. So not every bloody inch is under water but I agree the damage is immense. *SECRET IC TO THE ALLIES* NOTE: bring DUKW's and anything that floats when we invade the West of Utrecht and Holland. * TOP SECRET* We can confirm this. *TOP SECRET DIPLOMATIC NOTE TO ALL ALLIES* We ask the Allies to pinpoint their attacks in an attempt to minimize civilian casualties. We are already contemplating dragging the Republic of Dragganan before a court of law because of their clear violations of human rights on several occasions like their killing spree at Doorn and his forces relocations of the population of Utrecht. Notwithstanding the "good intentions". Also his "stab-on-sight" policy of wounded Dutch soldiers is a violation of the Geneva Convention and the Dutch policy of a similar practice has hereby been revoked. We will give enemy soldiers a quarter if they wish to surrender. We ask the Allies for attacks on his homeland--- to the extend of going nuclear if his government refuses to repay all the damage done to the Netherlands and seeks full dis-armament and de-industrialization. The Dutch themselves hereby promise to organize a court of law for those officers who have given express orders to use chemical weapons. *TOP SECRET* The Dutch advise Drakorian, Poliz, Austrian and Krieg forces to mass at Doorn. Tonight the Dutch forces will launch a quick assault towards Utrecht and try to lure the enemy out before withdrawing towards Doorn. Prepare the enemy in a pincer attack around Driebergen.
  14. *TOP SECRET* Drenthe National Guard. Something will have to be done to drive 15th south or north. They will have to be on the march for our attacks to be really effective. It is the idea to make them loose their nerves and surrender. Psychological warfare. Another attack was carried out- this time on another side of Hoogeveen. A couple of shots were fired- and the unit withdrew back into the night.
  15. *TOP SECRET* A unit of the Drenthe National Guard attacked elements of 15th division for the second time in one night at Hoogeveen. A couple of shots were fired back and forward and the unit withdrew under the cover of darkness. They have announced to perform these kind of attacks more often in order to damage enemy morale and coordinate their attacks with Allied HQ.
  16. *TOP SECRET* Mobile Group Limburgse Jagers and the tank brigade have reached the outskirts of Amersfoort. We will take up position on the moors at the heathlands of Leusderheide. 3 km's east from the city itself.
  17. *TOP SECRET IC* We would like to request that NoN ships move to the port of Antwerp, Brabant. Distance to Apeldoorn is 209 kilometers (via Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Arnhem).
  18. "TOP SECRET" Local units from the National Guard from Drenthe that had slipped into hiding and were rumored to have be withdrawn North attack elements of the Dragannan 15th Division at Echten- a small village close to Hoogeveen, Drenthe. After a brief exchange they slip back into the darkness heading for an unknown location. Likewise- Local units from the National Guard of Overijssel quickly gained control of the road close to Staphorst and looked for survivors to take prisoner for INTEL. After that they slipped back into the darkness speeding South.
  19. *TOP SECRET * Received and understood- we will refrain from opening fire towards Utrecht (Utrecht is well in range of our M109 mobile howitzers). Mobile Group Limburgse Jagers and a tank brigade have reached Barneveld. Distance to Amersfoort: 18.8 km's.
  20. *SECRET* Dutch forces can see the fires but it seems that it isn't that bad as previously thought. The resistance has informed us about fires around the forested areas around De Bilt and more north towards Soest. Majoor L. Fransen of 11 Afdra Mobile Artillery is sitting on the parapet of his entrenched artillery position just outside Doorn with a smirk on his face waving the weather forecast. "Tonight.. there might be some rain." He grins to one of the other officers "The stupid idiots wasted their time for nothing !"
  21. "TOP SECRET" **Dalmatia Forward Air Command** We ask you to bomb 4th and 8th Dragannan division at Utrecht. With a bit of luck those mined roads and railways with be hit as well. *TOP SECRET* Dutch forces at Arnhem will mass at Doorn, province of Utrecht (between Driebergen and Veenendaal) and entrench themselves and await further orders. 1st Gelderland National Guard, 3th Brabant National Guard and 11 Afdra "Gele Rijders" Mobile Artillery are to be send to Doorn and entrench themselves and await further instructions.. *TOP SECRET* Upon noticing that the 15th Dragannan Division was moving towards Hoogeveen, Drenthe the units of the Drenthe, Overijssel, Friesland and Groningen National Guards have been withdrawn further north and have spread out. Ready to wage a guerilla war in Drenthe.
  22. "We thank you for your time and kindness"
  23. The Free Provinces (all but Holland, Utrecht and Overijssel) of the Republic of the United Netherlands have agreed with the following statement: The Republic now realized that her traditional policies did not protect and as such does the Republic ask for candidate membership of the EU.
  24. The Republic of the United Netherlands now understands that her traditional policies have not worked and therefore we ask to be accepted as candidate for the EU.
  25. * STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL TO ALL ALLIES* The Free Provinces of the Republic of the United Netherlands (in effect now all apart from Utrecht, Holland and Overijssel) have agreed on appointing a temporal government which will be based at Brussels. Brussels is now in effect the capital of the Republic of the United Netherlands with the former Raadspensionaris of Brabant, J.M.P Verhoeven appointed as acting Federal President and the cabinet under the control of the economist dr. T.F Danssaert. EDIT: despite the heavy fighting the representatives of the Provincial Council of Guelders that convened in Arnhem have agreed and ratified the agreement between the Free Provinces. * SECRET* The Regiment Johan Willem Friso will be joined by the Cavalry (Tank) Regiment Huzaren van Boreel and the Regiment Langemarck. They will fix their positions and entrench themselves around Doorn.
