You'll note, first of all, that TOP is not currently a signatory of this treaty.

Secondus, as this treaty only currently applies to IRON/ODN (who already have their Senate seats), all that we are doing is defending the Senate seats that we already possessed. You will also note that the Senate Seats portion says nothing about military action. We're not bullying anyone, we're pledging to help each other, in much the same way that FOK has pledged to help TOP retain its Senate seat. Does this mean that Orange Unity has become TOP/FOK unity? Certainly not. Read TheEric's post.

I think this Pact doesn't exclude the other orange alliances from OU. No, it's more a big step in the right direction indicating the other alliances to follow.
