The du Pont campaign understands how expensive universal healthcare is, and if you look at the world map, other nations throughout the world are able to afford it and they have less population and less money then what the United States does, Universal Healthcare does not mean and will not mean an effect for the people in the US who already have health care, all the plan would do is cover those who do not have Health care options available to them do to their situations in life, If we allow only private insurance companies to cover Americans then we have lost the battle because it will be up to the companies to decide who gets covered and who gets left out in the snow. Do You want America left out in the Snow, Mr. Johnson?

I already said that the Government would cover those who couldn't afford private insurance. And although universal healthcare may not mean coverage for all Americans, it WILL mean higher taxes for them. Mr. du Pont, are you a candidate that will horde cash from American pockets unnecessarily?

By the time the impeachment comes to a conclusion, as long as we draw out the impeachment a little, the elections will be over, and Caudill will no longer legally be able to put in new judges.

Draw the impeachment process out by almost a year? That's almost impossible.

OOC: Elections occur on August 20th. Don't know if we can delay impeachment by a month.

Jim Halpert's campaign countinues in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin, where he mentions the Texas and Delaware canidates not supporting the righteous possible impeachment of over half of the supreme court.

Well of course, we're not going to impeach them YET; we'll wait until a Republican becomes President so that we can get Republican justices when they get kicked out. - Texas Representative

Indianapolis, Indiana was next on track for the du Pont campaign where Lucas Oil Stadium was packed to the brim with cheering wild fans and supporters of the du Pont campaign, In reply to the Johnson campaigns inefficient caterwauling about universal health care, a question was posed to Mr. Johnson by the supports of du Pont and du Pont himself, "Mr. Johnson, do you support the ongoing corruption in the medical insurance and health care fields?, How can you support the denial of health care for all Americans based on the whims of the Insurance companies and Hospitals, Have you no compassion for your fellow man as Mr. du Pont has?"
    [/quote]
Johnson was moving on to Kansas City, and when he was told about du Pont's comment, he replied, "Corruption-bashing belongs in the courthouses, not in the Congressional Halls. Don't try to end it unless it brings something else very beneficial. As for Universal healthcare, do you have any idea how expensive it is? You're talking about covering the entire country. Where are you going to get the cash? From the hard working Americans who shed sweat to feed their families? No. Allow private health insurance companies to exist, and cover ONLY those who can't afford any of the insurance options provided by the companies, and find funding somewhere else in the budget. He who works for his share deserves all of his share."

  4. John made his way west to Missouri to begin campaigning. Standing under the Gateway Arch, he boldly cried out, "The Democrats in Washington say that they're going to help the poor and give them programs to ease lives. But the thing is, they're going to take your hard-earned money out of your pockets. We don't want that. That isn't fair. Who's to say that the government gets to take money from you because some bum out in the street who's too lazy to find a job is hungry? If I was President, I'd fix the budget and create opportunities for those in need without stealing your money and your work.

"Now one of the other candidates, du Pont, says that he wants to install Universal Healthcare. IS that so? Healthcare for the entire universe? Including the Green Flag? I think we'll pass." He paused to allow a few chuckles. "But seriously, universal healthcare is a ripoff for a lot of you. With universal healthcare, people will be going to the hospital for colds. Lines will be endless. Work for medical staff will be stressful. On top of that, it's extremely expensive. They might say that you're just paying for the treatment you'll receive later, but what happens if, say, you die in a car crash? You're still paying for that person inflicted with cancer, but your treatment costs $0. Universal healthcare is a sham."

OOC:Just wondering when this will countinue.

OOC: Sorry, my xbox burned out the day after the first results. Luckily, I have a memory card, so I'll get back to posting results when my xbox comes back, which could be any day now.

  6. "We believe there is an error that the Court is committing. The Court ruled only that the actions of the southwest states, not the Treaty itself, were unconstitutional. Under the U.S. Constitution, it is illegal for the Supreme Court to overturn a law or action not unconstitutional. Those responsible for the elections should instead face trial."

  7. After hearing that the President had been admitted into the hospital, Republican candidate James Johnson immediately suspended his campaign, hastily grabbed a rosary, and flew to the city where Caudill resided. When he discovered that the visitation would be limited to the Caudill family, Johnson said, "Very well. I will wait."

  8. Texas challenges the court's decision. The laws involved in the Annexation Treaty were overturned in the previous Supreme Court case, and since there is nothing else unconstitutional in the Annexation Treaty, it cannot be declared void by the Supreme Court. The elections that had occurred in the southwest are, under current U.S. law, not punishable by ejection from the Union.

  9. IC: "I have no idea what you're talking about. The states that formerly comprised Southern Tahoe are already part of the union. This bill states that Tahoe will hold special elections to determine its representation in Congress, with the Tahoe Nationalist Party. What I was saying is that I support the bill if the Tahoe party won't be involved in or support secessionist activity."

  10. "I stand by my fellow Delawarean senator. This bill is indeed, in my opinion, an ugly bill, but since not passing this bill may escalate foreign relations with Tahoe even further and bring us closer to war with them, I support this bill. Of course, this is provided that the Tahoe Nationalist Party will not be involved in or support secessionist activity."

  11. "Senator Michaels (or Callahan), the laws that your state refers to in an attempt to strike down this resolution may be unconstitutional, in which case your argument is nullified. Therefore, seeing that the voting pattern in this chamber has a likely chance of being affected by such a Supreme Court decision, I request that the Senate allows the Supreme Court to form a holding on this case before it proceeds."

  12. OOC: Retcon the following if there is no court system.

IC: Senator John Cornyn IV took the floor. "At this time, I ask the Supreme Court to review the following laws of certain states of Circuits 9 and 10 on the point that they are in violation of the First Amendment:
