  1. You can probably bet who I would choose. I joined STA because Tyga is one of the best leaders on Planet Bob in terms of both honor and competence, and the STA has a reputation for being an extremely honorable alliance. But, make your own choice based on who you think is going in the right direction as an alliance.

I laughed so hard at this. Tyga is the guy who nuked another alliance without clearance or authorization to do so and plunged the entire community into it's first great war, in which he lost.

  2. Moo is essentially different than Moldavi because logic mandates they are not two-in-the-same. They are two sovereign autonomous entities, unless they are the same person.

Um, I agree? I never said they were the same. I am pointing out that Ivan was better at the job than Moo.

  3. Actually I submitted an order for tech last week and received it within days. I was quite impressed with the speed of the transaction, especially considering how many other orders were being placed.

Pacificas Tech Corps is excellent, which is more than I can say for this shoddy article, which somehow manages to be even worse than last weeks.

You'll pardon me if I don't take your word for it.

  4. I've actually always thought I represented what Pacifica used to be like. If anything we've grown a bit more compassionate under Emperor Revenge. This can be seen as a good or bad thing depending on your view. I think most consider this a good thing, especially if you were around for the alternatives.

Seriously, were you around for Emperor Ivan? Count your blessings that you're dealing with benevolent Emperor Revenge.

Yes, I actually was. I remember Ivan. Mild mannered car salesman by day, ebil dictator by night. I remember how he was heavy handed just like Moo, but knew when to back down. Key point was after GW1. He knew he messed up. It seems the idea of being incorrect doesn't apply to Moo's system of governing and that he would rather condemn his whole alliance to failure than admit he might have gone about things wrong.

  5. Thank you for being so clever and pointing out that I've been in a fair amount of alliances during my time in CN. However, I believe it has already been established that I have not, in fact, dedicated the majority of my time to any one alliance, but rather have been in quite a few since I began playing.

What you don't understand, Northrend, is that I can support NPO and their allies in one thread, and then criticize them in another, because I don't judge actions based on who commits them, I judge actions by their own merit, and then judge people by their actions.

I judge people by their actions as well. There's really no difference in the manner in which we judge folks. I call it how I see it, and I'm a realist. From what I have gathered about your posts you seem to not care about or develop attachments to the alliances you stay in. I would be very surprised if your new alliance lasts longer than 6 months. Even that is a high estimate.

  6. I don't really see how you would have stopped me from leaving, so you didn't actually "let" me go. Also, I find it amusing that you of all people speak of political consistancy. It seems your opinion of me is different in every thread.

That is because your conduct varies greatly from thread to thread. In one thread you seem to take a stance against something and then in the next you're wholeheartedly supporting it. It makes it very difficult for me to figure out your direction when you have flip flopped so many times. How many alliances is it you've been in now? I count three for me. The original Nordreich, Ragnarok and now Vox. I distinctly remember you forming at least a few in the 3 years CN has been around.

  7. These are some shocking revelations. Wow, just wow. I can only hope Vox continues to provide such shocking information on some small random part of NPO tech dealing. Great work guys I can only hope you get some great screens on what really goes on in their spam forums, only that could top this.

Yes, revealing that the NPO has very little in the way of Tech to spare and the large backlog in their Tech Corps they have, thus exposing a weakness in the usual "perfect" facade of Pacifica is hardly of note.
