With the issue of ghosts, we'll obviously do our part to verify the target's "ghostliness" before we take action after another green alliance comes to us with a clear-cut ghost issue.
Bingo. I hope you like querying other gov members? I usually find it to be a pain.
Plus, majority of the raiding parties are aligned and not ghosting. Sure this is a good PR move but one that does not bring many results.

Some people have mentioned it before, but yeah anybody would be worried if 2 years worth of government logs were going to be released. It's a private channel on IRC, people speak whatever the hell is on their minds at the moment whether or not they have completely thought it through. It does not necessarily dictate the alliance's policy.
If our logs were to be released-- I'd go ahead and do some damage control on OWF, make sure people know that these are just private channels for some to vent. At least it will come from my mouth and reduce some of the spinning.
But... when you're the GGA and people are oh so ready to stereotype you guys and spin anything you guys might say... don't take that tip. And when you're posting on the OWF, you're trying to gain the support of the masses as well-- something you guys have clearly lost and probably won't regain in the foreseeable future. It's in your best interests to have just keep a low profile and took care of this with your friends in the private channels.
I probably shouldn't make fun of you guys, simply because I know a couple of guys in there who really do want to help out GGA. So a shoutout to Chaosplayer.

I've never really sat comfortable the distinction between "OOC" and "IC". When I think of "IC" I can only think of epic long text walls on the life as Eron the Dragonslayer or whatnot.
I see most people playing as themselves were this a real situation they were put in, that's probably what I enjoy most about Cybernations. The reason why is that-- Unlike our plastic units in Risk-- our nations are something we really do hold value in. People can pass it off "pixels" but there is a distinction between the thousand pixels I can whip up in word and the pixels I watch accumulate over 3 years.

You'd actually be surprised at the number of alliances willing to cut communications with another alliance at a moments notice. This announcement is just to reaffirm our position that we will accept diplomatic communications with any alliance, regardless of postion on the MDP web, allies, or the current political system.

I think most alliances have this kind of policy, I mean it is just an E-embassy. I don't need my golden toilet in my marble tiled bathroom

Not saying PWN isn't tight knit. You just don't represent your color in the same way Chestnut and Poseidon do: Chestnut is something like 90% of Maroon and Poseidon is ~85% of Purple. A quick check shows PWN as 77% of Pink.
