  1. Once again, I'd like to point out that this wasn't about saving pixels or being afraid of war. We left when Echelon declared itself neutral because Echelon didn't want to uphold it's treaties with NPO because they would be utterly steamrollered. That they changed their mind is merely an indication that the court of public opinion scared them more than damage to their nations. I'd also like to point out that six days after the outbreak of hostilities, over 45% (at the time of this posting) of Echelon nations are still in peace-mode.

I had said I did not want to engage with the trolls. Call me a traitor or a backstabber or whatever foul name you want to put to it. But don't call me a coward when you are comparing me to Echelon.

Point 1: I missed the Echelon declaration of neutrality. Hell, I missed the convo when it was even being debated. Mind linking me to any shred of proof of what you just said?

Point 2: The reason why 45% of Echelon nations are in peace is the same reason why any other alliance declares war and then jumps into peace - tactics. Don't worry, those 45% of Echelon nations will come out soon enough.

Point 3: You insult Echelon's loyalty to her allies hinting that you wanted the complete opposite - war, patriotism, and to protect Echelon's allies, which is exactly why you attacked Echelon's allies: http://www.cybernations.net/search_wars.as...&Extended=1 Whatever the case, you should not, I repeat, not bail on Echelon in times of war or when you are put on alert which is EXACTLY what you did.

    Did I miss anything?

  2. So if the whole joining 1V was "superfluous", then why was it so damn important to betray BLEU?

You're trying to downplay Echelon's joining 1v as something that was only a minor act, but in doing so betraying our staunchest allies, ones we had just taken up arms to defend?

It was a major shift in where Echelon hung their hat, akin to someone in NATO suddenly joining the Warsaw Pact and saying "But we're all still friends, right?" You knew from that point that 1v was important, and anyone BLEU was just lip service.

But that still doesn't address my point of the joining of 1v not AT ALL being discussed with the members of Echelon until after the fact... much like MAD's departure and subsequent painting as cowards. Well at least THEY didn't get sold out to tech raiders before they were cut loose.

Your understanding of mutualism (aka friendship) is a parasitic interaction, one where one alliance feeds off another and aims to further themselves through the harm of others just because they have something in "common." Use people for their protection and then talk smack about them behind their backs? You're surprised we cut you loose? I'm surprised we tried to fix our relationship for so long while you kept insulting our ways, alliance, and membership. Believe me when I say you got off easy.

  3. Because you know, Karma is all about fighting their targets 1-on-1, right?

More like 3v1 which is sad, but hey, I'm not complaining, I love being the underdog in a fight, both when outnumbered and outgunned. It really becomes sad though when those 3 alliances fail to break your defenses and have to activate further Mutual Defense Pacts for help especially when they are attacking =/

  4. lol @ people not knowing that defenders always do more damage then attackers. I'm at war against 3 other people, doing 3 times as much damage to them as a whole then they are to me. Sure I'll take more damage then any one of them however, they'll end up eating more nukes and lose more NS :) Not to mention what dilber said earlier - people with higher infra lose much more money rebuilding then people with lower infra.

Plus WRC with higher tech = Usual "winner" of nuclear wars in the sense that they take less NS loss in nuke damage taken.

  5. Great War = Cyberverse equivalent for RL World War, not a war with LUE vs NPO.

This isn't going to stop at 10,000 wars. Remember, the war started 21st. Most people jumped into peace that day. There's still thousands of people in peace that are probably going to jump out today or tomorrow. THAT'S when the war gets BIG. I wouldn't be surprised if the war hit 15,000 wars as there's also quite a few more alliances waiting on their MDPs to expire.

This war _IS_ the successor to GW3. UJW was simply too small to be considered as a GW with NPO's side more then doubling GOONS' side. War of the Coalition was more then triple BLEU's side. This time the sides are somewhat even with a big "what happens at the end?"

  6. Did it ever occur to you that we have not been at war for 5 days yet and that we did not know how this war was going to pan out at the beginning and therefore kept a reserve just as many of the alliances have? Now i am done answering questions regarding our military strategy.

That's not a reason to lack a MP, WRC, SDI or even a warchest.... =/

  7. I can't think of a nicer person to take some balls in the mouth. Also, lighten the $%&@ up. You jackbags have multiple alliances/people/leader on the side of Karma that have said and done much worse. A soccer ball teabag joke is some funny !@#$, and you damn well know it. :P

Hi baby. How you been? Kids doing aight?

Topic: Great balls of fire indeed.

  8. For the 72 nations in war mode at Valhalla, I'd expect more than 126 war declarations.

I know right. For the Karma side that seems to be doing so well, they can't even fill up your slots. I mean, Echelon has more guys on offense then defense. So much for coordination, huh?

  9. For the record, the biggest treaty suspension/cancellation does not come from us. I'd be willing to say that while ours ranks up there, NPO would have to be the largest, canceling multiple treaties on GOONS, \m/, [m] and others, along with the abandonment of WUT, which also bound them to the mentioned alliances. With at least 3 treaties to GOONS and the like, they canceled in the middle of a war. Will I say it was not honorable? no. They did the right thing. How is this any different? Karma's a %&$^#, so is perspective.

Of course the all time treaty cancellation record isn't held by you, you weren't around as half as long as NPO. But I'm more then positive you set the record for most backstabs in a second. Go ahead, try to prove me wrong and find someone else with 7 or more treaty cancellations in one second. But I forgot, you want nothing to do with this, you aren't even princeps - enough though your name was found right next to it, on top of all these treaty cancellations, strange huh?

Oh and I'll never forget this quote:

"Let it be known, that we still consider these fine alliances friends. Our internal restructuring was needing a clear vision. As long as I remain Princeps, LOSS will do no harm to any of these alliances" - Jaaku.

You know, because this man has never lied to us before.

  10. You really don't understand much, do you?

I am a (OOC: reroll) good sir, and not a hidden one. I have been involved since March 12, 2006, first of the ODN. I was a Senator in the Orange Defense Network during the first Great War, and then I was a member of the NAAC for a period of time as well. I most recently was the Greenland Republic Minister of Foreign Affairs for 8-10 months and then their Archon for 3 months. I now am a Triumvir of Nemesis. I don't really think that you can argue my incompetence regarding knowledge of this situation, as I was allied to LoSS for many months (years?) of my time on CN and I have been friends with most of their leadership for just as long. To even begin to say that you know LoSS or anyone in it better than I do is ridiculous.

You aren't a reroll. A reroll would at least have the decency to admit the nice things we've done for your alliance and then go out on a limb and argue everything our ally has done to hurt them thereby providing us with a shred of evidence as to why you've destroyed everything your FA has worked to achieve for the past half a year. Either that or you've really been a proud wolf-in-sheep's clothing - something no alliance, regardless of the sides, will forget. Nevertheless, the fact of the matter remains - you can act whichever way you feel is better for both the morale of your troops, your conscious, and your pride. Betraying five friends in order to get back at one. That is the creed of the LoSS. The LoSSt and the damned.

  11. I didn't know Echelon spent months in negotiations, perhaps you should be better at them and then you could do it much faster. It also leads me to wonder why LoSS's treaty with you was not signed until after GR canceled on them, as well as why I never heard a thing about LoSS being assisted by Echelon in getting off neutrality, when I did hear that TBB and TPF had assisted them. Funny how that works.

That's it exactly. You didn't know. You weren't playing the game back then. You barely have less then a year to your name and you didn't realize the lengths we when to bait you guys out and by the excuses you are throwing at us, you still don't. Sounds like the only manipulative entity here is you.

But if the NPO membership doesn't like LoSS, why should they continue to have a relationship with you? If you don't like them, why would they possibly want to be treatied to you?

Don't even tell me about this insignificant made up fable about how you "came" to your senses. It happened a a few days before the war broke out. You've had months to reevaluate your relationship with the alliances around you but you chose that the best time to do it was the time the bandwagon rolled up to your doorstep.

    Jaaku wasn't Princeps, as stated.

And he still isn't, oh wait.

  12. What on earth makes you think they were activated? LOSS cancelled on the 17th. If they were activated even during the cancellation period (one of which was 5 days) LOSS would have been obliged to help. Get your facts straight.

Perfect. Right around the time that we told all of our close MDP partners we were going to enact our MDPs. That was told to you on the 19th, well within the 72-hour period. Oh wait, didn't you get the memo from Jaaku? Here's a part of the convo I had with him not too long ago:

[19:27] <AllYourBase> you know we need you more then ever

[19:28] <jawayku> but as for the rest of it. I'm not part of that, and want no part of it

    [19:28] <jawayku> yeah

    [19:28] <jawayku> AYB, I'm not princeps

    [19:28] <AllYourBase> ugh

    [19:28] <AllYourBase> anymore you mean

    [19:28] <jawayku> I still hold influence, but $%&@

What is that, the second lie within a 72 hour period? But it's okay, because after all, you wish the best to all your former MDP partners (from your other topic):

"Let it be known, that we still consider these fine alliances friends. Our internal restructuring was needing a clear vision. As long as I remain Princeps, LOSS will do no harm to any of these alliances" - Jaaku ........and then you attack their friends. Great.
