I know hardly anyone in Athens but I am quickly becoming a fan of this Jack Diorno fellow. Every thread/ animation he does is awesome and insightful
also seeing as they get attacked within 5 days of cancellation, should our treaties have a longer time for cancellation, or would this just delay the envitable?

Well well well... that's interesting.
By the way its phrased, "this round of elections", it sounds like they are willing to comprimise their neutrality temporaily to combat the spam (which they find annoying) and it is not a permanent policy of theirs. That's my guess.

You made that sound like someone would prefer other senators over the stickmen's candidate, and that can't be right, can it?
Well, my view is that ppl perfer not to vote who they think may be better for the job no matter what alliance they belong to, but vote for what will serve their own alliances interest. I dont think personal preference or who would do the job better normally comes into voting.

Thanks Penkala, for clearing that up for me. I was so confused until you came along and explained this to me. Now I'm perfectly clear on all the issues involved with this....

We sent out messages encouraging people to vote for a candidate we support. Big deal! To get mad about this is to admit that you're afraid outside thinking will negatively effect your election.
The problem is that there is nothing within that spam message that identifies which alliances the senator is aligned to, and as such its possible that the voters may be voting for your senator when they would rather vote for one that their own alliance has approved. The fact that this information is missing is why people can misconstrue this as an impersonation of a purple unity member asking for the vote.
Other than that I dont see a real problem here, and nations should have the common sense to check whose alliance thatthe author of the message belongs to anyway, particularly if they are unfamilar with the sender.

Anyway I love the treaty, if not for the awesome alliances contained within, for the wonderful brief nature of the articles. Nicely done.

This is a completely ridiculous thread in which you seem to be under the impression that you have the right to control another sovereign alliance's policies on ghosting nations. You don't. Good day to you.
