    Considering the fact that you are a protectorate of ROK's and Asgaard's blocmate in Mjolnir, I would have thought this could have been handled in a less public way. As far as I know, none of you tried contacting us privately. That said, These deals were made, and your former emperor stated that these deals were guaranteed by TGE. I am pretty easy to find on IRC or an in game PM so would appreciate you all letting me know how you are going to fix this. I have three members, Commander Thrawn, Demag and Spankthefrank who sent their money and received no tech at all.

    You talk about the spirit of the game being a fair fight? Come back when your side doesn't outnumber ours 4 to 1.

    Declaring on every alliance in the war would be a brave move for us but wouldn't help anyone, burning right next to our allies wouldn't be smart. Picking our targets and effectively shutting them down ([b]as we did seeing both asgaard and loss have no offensive wars on RIA anymore[/b]) helps them more then just go down for the sake of glory.

    And whats with all the comments on the downdeclaring.. OF COURSE we downdeclared on our target alliances.. why would we give up the biggest advantage we have the one of being able to pick the best match-ups.

    Or maybe i'm looking at it all wrong.. maybe we should demand that Umbrella starts to sell their tech because it gives them an unfair advantage :rolleyes:

    Just wanted to correct the bolded part above, Asgaard has never been at war with RIA. We are at war with GOD and R&R. And we no longer have any wars with them because until the peacemode warriors come out, there is no one to hit in GOD, Valhalla, Basketball Ninjas, SC and NEAT have GOD covered. So we moved over to focus on R&R.

    Nice theory, unfortunately, not true. The treaty with MHA was signed before this cluster of a war started. Apparatus and TSA were supposed to come in on RNR on Thursday, knowing full well that FOK was waiting for them. The coalition asked for them to hold off for a few days, and so an hour before they DOW'd we asked them to hold off until Sunday. FOK is a hard target, and there were plenty of alliances who did not want to go against them. While GATO may or may not be soft, they do have allies that are not soft, and App knew whichever way they went they were going to get hammered. This was not an easy decision to make, and we stand behind Randalla in her decision. If Asgaard had not asked for the delay, this would not have been an issue, and we apologize for putting Apparatus into an awkward position.

    1. Preamble

    Hey, look, it's another treaty! Like the one before, but with more capital M!


    2. Non-Aggression

    Asgaard and the Basketball Ninjas agree not to commit any acts of aggression against the other party, including but not limited to spying, direct attacks, or threats of attack. Both parties agree to remain civil and refrain from direct actions which might undermine the spirit of this agreement.


    3. Intelligence

    The signatories agree to share any information pertaining to the security of the two alliances. Signatories will inform each other of any military action they plan to take, within a reasonable time frame, before such action takes place.


    4. Aid

    If one party finds itself requiring financial aid, they may ask the other party for assistance. The other signatory is strongly encouraged to assist, but retains the option to decline or fulfill the request to a lesser extent than was requested.


    5. Mutual Defense

    In the event of a direct attack upon one party, the other party is bound by this document to provide military assistance.


    6. Optional Aggression

    Should one party choose to enter a conflict in an aggressive fashion, the other is encouraged, but not required, to provide assistance if requested.


    7. Chaining

    This treaty is to be considered non-chaining; in the event of an attack resulting from a larger conflict rather than a direct action against a signatory, invocation of this treaty reverts to optional.


    8. Asshattery

    If either signatory commits an act of espionage, attack or other malicious action upon a third party that directly leads to a declaration of war upon that signatory, the other signatory's obligation of support shall be considered void. However the attacked signatory may still request assistance, and the other signatory may still support the attacked signatory at their discretion.


    9. Cancellation

    Either party may cancel this agreement with 72 hours -- 3 days -- notice. The cancellation period may be waived with the agreement of both parties.
