Nah, we're doing cash-up-front with people ordering direct from the factory, so anti-up now if you want in. The other alternative, of course, is all of us cranky old veterans form The Brotherhood of the Traveling Swim Briefs, where we mail it from person to person and share them equally over the new year. The briefs will, of course, fit perfectly, flatter our figures, help us fall in love, and give us much needed closure.

I'm sure one of his friends bought a tattoo gun off ebay and did it for $20 bucks.
To be fair, he uses that tattoo every day. I'm only going to use the swim briefs three or four times a week.

Now that I'm back home in Schloss Eggenberg and have a big screen to use again, I have to say I'm disheartened by the pricetag. I was very interested a pair and much more interested in modeling them but $50 is a hefty fee for a prank.

I bet the 2008 Schatt would have been willing to pay $100 for a prank, but time and tide makes moderates of us all. Anyway, this is the same company that makes the water polo suits for UCLA and Cal, so at $45 it's a bargain considering the hours you can use it before requiring replacement.
By the way, I don't think you regret that Vox rose you got tattooed on the small of your back. Very tasteful.

I wanted to let you know that the Order has a long tradition of incorporating graphical elements of the flag into apparel. I'm currently thinking of a particularly fetching jacket worn by Hugo Chavez... anyway it's not uncommon and not contrary to the flag code. Indeed, when I represent the Order at the Lake Berryessa open water swim next year, I'll be wearing these budgie smugglers proudly. They identify the wearer as a member of the Order, provide minimal drag and full mobility. I will grant that the Order was a much different place in 2008, but while it is a violation of the flag code to use the flag itself in a disrespectful manner, wearing the flag as a design element is not.

11 years ago today, Franco made a play for control of the Pacific, and in the Five Days that shook the world, created Order from Chaos.

The Emperor has decreed that a meteor shower should happen tonight to celebrate the freedom of Pacifica. Those in the Pacific Time Zone should look up between 11pm and 1am to behold the heavens responding to our Emperor's will.

As far as I am aware Pacifica is free to conduct trade agreements with any nations outside of Pacifica, according to the agreement. It is true that a few upper-tier nations are penalized for hiding from the war, but every other Pacifican citizen is as free as a Polardoxian member abroad (at least, I hope they are).
A more correct term would be economic sanctions on the economic elite of Pacifica's hierarchical oligarchy. (ooc: similar to how the US/UN imposes sanctions on powerful influences in nations like Iran and North Korea).
Tywin, I know you know the difference between a country and an alliance.

It is not an embargo, it is a civil agreement by NPO to compensate for her upper tier hiding from the war.

Forgive my ignorance, but why has the great Pacifican economy been hinder so?
Part of the terms of the Disorder War requires a 100 day embargo on many NPO bank nations. Since the damage of the war continues, so do the sing-alongs.

My material is consistent. Pacifica is in a confused and reactionary state, and in desperate need of reform. I talked to Cortath a while back but I don't blame him for not wanting to fix Pacifica's mess twice.
Tywin, everything I need to know about your analysis and inside information I learned from this post. But don't worry, I'm sure our current Emperor and new Regent will walk Pacifica back from the brink of reactionary neo-imperialism that Emperor Brehon infected our beloved Order with and we'll return to the glorious days of a Francoist state.
Regardless, there were many people wishing us luck in rebuilding in our surrender thread. This gives them an opportunity to take the next step.
Besides, you never know how things will turn out. People surrendered to Pacifica when we were under Karma terms, perhaps they'll donate to Pacifica under the oA terms.

The 11th Year of Order's First Sing-Along Triannual Report
My Emperor, His Honored Regent and Imperial Officers, Honored Allies, Respected Enemies, Indeterminate Neutrals, Friends, Detractors, and my fellow Pacificans:
Our "Esteemed" Counselor Bilrow has been directed by the Dungeon Master Emperor to prepare and present a report on the Order's rebuilding progress as a result of the Doom War.
This report was deemed too dull to release to the general public, and as such, I was asked to codify it into Sing Along form.
The results are not much better, but here it is:
