    Seriously though I don't really know anything about hockey but got pulled into this and it's really entertaining. If you have a passing interest in fantasy ice hockey or data analysis I'd recommend at least looking at it.

    MI6. They're very active.They also tend to turn otherwise good people into d-bags, at least in public. Their Ambassador to NoR is exceptionally tolerant of the horrible things many of us say to him, which in my mind has earned him a kind of 'Strange New Respect' award. I still think they're going to get a severe pummeling down the road, though.  Just don't know who'll be delivering it.


    We just say the things the rest of you are thinking, and people pretend to get angry over it.

    And yeah, VE+IRON+Umbrella against us wasn't enough of a pummeling according to some. Go figure.

  12. Cards Against Cybernations | MI6 Plays CN

    MI6's second birthday is in two days from the posting of this topic: April 15.

    To celebrate, some of us are going to be streaming a Cybernations themed version of Cards Against Humanity, but we need your help.

    If you're not familiar with Cards Against Humanity, here is a brief synopsis.

    [spoiler]To start the game, each player draws ten white "answer" cards. The player "who pooped last" begins as the Card Czar, and plays a black "question" card. The Card Czar reads the question out to the group. Each player answers the question by passing one white "answer" card, face down, to the Card Czar. The Card Czar shuffles all of the answers, reads them out loud in a humorous fashion, and picks their favorite. Whoever played that answer gets to keep the Black Card as one Awesome Point. After each round, a new player becomes the Card Czar, and every player draws back up to ten cards.[/spoiler]

    In essence, the game is about being as offensive as possible while still making sense and being funny. To make this custom game, we need to make black question cards and white answer cards themed around Cybernations.

    For example, one of the black cards we have right now is, "It's a pity that DBDC hasn't yet rolled ____."

    Likewise, one of our white cards is, "the Non Grata pandemic", a reference to when MI6 played Pandemic 2 and named our virus "Non Grata."

    Because it's our birthday, some of our cards are going to be MI6-themed, but we want to open it to everyone else as well to have fun with it.

    Therefore, I'm going to be taking everyone's submissions for black and white cards. Making political jabs is totally fine as it's in the spirit of being insulting for the game.

    If you have any responses inappropriate for the CN Forums, here is the link for this thread on our forums. You can also PM them to me, or query me on IRC (Stagger_Lee) with your submissions.

    If this type of humor just isn't your thing, then feel free to ignore this and not to tune in. We hope a few people will get some fun out of it, and the code for the deck that we come up with will be made public so that anybody can play their own CN-themed games if they want.

    Apparently people were fooled.

    Regardless, I'm sure that especially the signatories know the implications of tying that much NS together with the current state of how few alliances and active nations we have would be. Despite the ties that already exist between these alliances, formalizing it into a bloc would basically kill the last couple of years we have left by trivializing everything.
