    We didn't piggyback on anything. I told NoR when and where I'd declare on you before I knew how many alliances would be declaring on Invicta.

    We're a little upset stickmen have hogged so many slots, but we'll never feel guilty about defending our allies.

    No, they were a day premature. [B]I[/B] wanted to do a joint FOK-NV DOW citing our protectorate with erikz, but you guys never got the guts to attack him so I had to settle for this whole MDP activation thing.

    Yes, the mighty tR war machine delivered so much damage! Couldn't have had anything to do with the other alliances, particularly FOK, that GLOF was at war with, right?

    You guys are the ones who started acting like you beat GLOF into a bloody pulp.. the war ended before you had a chance to prove yourselves. Prove yourselves here against TORN, or fall flat on your faces, but don't go about acting like you just defeated GLOF.

    Don't worry, there were some super secret terms behind the scenes on this one. Among others, Harry will never be in FOK! govt again--his only job is to return as diplomat to NV. Erikz is not allowed to post on OWF anymore, either. I know it seems harsh, but this is for the good of all CN!

    I wish I could accept your thanks, Ezequiel, but Smooth from VE did the mediation and the legwork. :wub: VE ... we just came and grabbed you and everyone else so we could all end it together and at once.

    Also, huge thanks and respect to our opponents in this one. You all fought hard and honorably, and the taunts/banter between us was hilarious. It was a pleasure to fight you all, although I do hope we don't have to do it again.

    You know that the people you're attacking are the defenders, right? Which means you're fighting an AGGRESSIVE war, not a DEFENSIVE war. Might wanna fix that in your DoW. ;)

    You probably don't care, but for what it's worth I never took you for the kind of alliances that would support Polaris in this kind of !@#$%^&*. I'm going to have hope FOK and their friends tear you a new one.

    Sorry if this is slightly off-topic, but I do have to ask about your sig image, because it confuses me. I remember being in Friends > Infra, side-by-side with NpO as PC was attacking us preemptively for being allied to Polar, so I know you guys weren't Friends > Infra that time. When did you start using the moniker? This is an honest question, as I am rather sleepy and could just be confused.

    You're now upset with us for honoring a treaty with an ally who's stuck with us through the toughest of times? We refrained from countering PC in your response to NpO. We tried to keep it an even fight. Your side decided they should all just go ahead and declare on Polaris together, so we're doing the only honorable thing and defending them from unjustified dog-piling.

    "What issue?" is a true question. However, you then follow that up with a question that assumes I have an issue with ARES declaring on behalf of Polaris, even sans the "seriously". "Seriously" just adds more attitude to it.

    You're the one who said you had an issue with it.

    So... do you seriously have an issue with it? If so, what's the issue? If you don't seriously have an issue with it, then were you trying to make a joke or something?

    Congrats \m/ on the upgrade in protection.

    Edit: For the record, NV does not condone the repeated use of the non-descriptive "Imperial Decree - New Polar Order" as a label for every single NpO announcement. We feel there are important standards of creativity in this community, and will continue to taunt our Polar allies to the full legal extent of our treaty... in private.

    It seems as though there has been quite some confusion lately with NV protectorates. First that genius guy, now these guys.

    Quit searching for drama where there is none <_<

    Unfortunately, some people do like to assume "Protected by NV" in the bio means that the people are not protected and free raid targets.

    In this particular case, however, this genius was engaging in his second raid against the same victim, after peace had been declared and the victim had been given rebuilding aid. If there was a giant banner on top of the nation that said "Protected by NV", I doubt this rogue would have acted any differently. Either way, he gets his fight, our guys get some aid and valuable war experience, and you get one more interesting thread to read.

    You got this all backwards... you're supposed to pay us $15m for a swing at him!

    Also, on that note, I suppose I owe thanks to everyone who's helped to settle this matter quickly and offered their support.
