  1. A sense of community. In any alliance (CN or otherwise) I want to feel a close bond with my alliance mates. We become more like brothers. I need to trust them completely, and I want to earn their trust. I need to not just be a number. Even if I'm not the most active member, there are people who know me, recognize me, say 'hi'. Little things like that give me a sense of belonging and make me feel like I would never, ever, want to leave. I would put my life on the line for these guys. And in fact. I am.
  2. useless for calculations, but at least you know where NOT to go.
  3. Yea, basically, if you are in an alliance, use their guide. If you aren't in an alliance. Get to it!
  4. Going back to DEFCON 5 and threat level LOW, will help. That should boost your economy a bit. If you are really out of war, decom your tanks. The upkeep hurts a bit. Are you sure you have the same improvements as before? And you do have 15 tech, so you are getting the income from that... Are you getting the happiness bonus from trading within your own team? Other than that there's not much else I can think of.
  5. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?s...t&p=1806043 This post will explain how to move it precisely. Remember that the Latitude/Longitude are backwards. So if the correct coordinates are x,y. You need to enter them as y,x.
  6. Don't reroll. I find it to be a pitiful solution to "bad" resources. Live with what cards are dealt to you and make the best out of them. If you have such a hard time finding a trade circle, the arrange temp trades within your alliance. It's not too hard, and you can actually make MORE money than if you are in a set trade circle. I do, and I even have decent resources (IRON and water). Take my advice and never reroll, and never suggest it to anyone. There is never a situation where re-rolling is the best choice.
  7. *Thinking waaayyy back to high school, maybe even middle school* Significant digits; They DO matter
  8. No matter how many precautions you take, you cannot cure the symptoms of stupidity. (or carelessness)
  9. Sweet! Good calculations dude! You rock! And I moved my brand new moon mine, and even got the resource I wanted, RADON!!! Glad I don't have to worry about spending too much trying to get the resource I want. Till next month!
  10. 10.00000, -30.00000 70% Luckily that was where my brand new moon mine started.
  11. Yes, teach us O' Master! *bow* *bow*
  12. Yes, you can still trade while in peace mode. You can always change your alliance affiliations, even in peace mode. So, you want to make your own alliance? I'm not going to say you can't do it, but I just want to tell you it is going to be VERY difficult. There are already many well-established alliances, and it will take an Ungodly amount of effort on your part to create a decent alliance. But in any case, if you want to start an alliance, this isn't the forum to recruit on, go here: http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showforum=24
  13. I bow before your efforts at a mathematical solution, good sirs. If it was me I would just randomly guess with the rest of you till I get kinda close. >.>
  14. Yes, normally you would only have factories when you buy infra, but at the low amount if infra he is at, he would lose money by switching improvements.
  15. Your first Improvements should be harbor and foreign ministry. That gives you an extra trade slot and and extra aid slot. Make sure you use the aid slot for tech farming. Then you should buy banks and stadiums to increase your income.
  16. Nope, just checked. You cannot choose to enter anarchy. But you can just sell down your soldiers until you hit anarchy... if you really want to...
  17. maybe he didn't just send it to you? He might have been just messaging a lot of people in the hopes that he gets a response from some of them and might be able to guess if they were actually a banking nation or not. No real way to know.
  18. Yea, I'm not gonna bother moving my base. The benefit of an increase of 1-3% does not outweigh the cost of moving it.
  19. Yea! Just picked up my moon colony, just in time for the hotspot relocation! Slayer1557 at your(you mathy people) command!
  20. Yea, you should always check this thread for other people's posts before you move your base. Had you checked, you would have seen I already did a little homing in for you. We must be more efficient as a team! GO MOON BASE PEOPLE!
  21. There is only one hotspot on the moon per month. When you buy the colony or mine you get more symbols to move around the map representing your colony/mine. They have their own efficiency and are not tied into the base. Although once you find the hotspot, you are gonna want to put all your wonders on the same spot, so they get the same efficiency. In short, to answer your question, the efficiency of your base is not the efficiency of your colony/mine. Also, my starting coordinates, (1,1) are at 50% efficiency. Lemme move my base and get another reading. YAY! struck gold, so to speak! 76% at coordinates (-76.9999351181161,-90.703125) I help! Now go find a closer spot!
  22. that has been answered before. Although the base is required for the colony and mine, once you purchase the colony/mine, it is completely independent of the base. Losing the base will not affect your colony/mine
  23. Wewt! Got my Moon base just a few moments ago, for 122 million. I will be happy to help with the location of the new hotspot starting tomorrow.
  24. No, those are. If you are at 50% efficiency for your colony, you can only collect taxes from 50% of the citizens living there. Likewise your moon resource would give half it's benefit if it's at 50% efficiency.
