  1. 8,300,000.

'Kay, times a hundred it is. Thanks.

Thus, drafted army would be more likely. With every single person learning how to use a gun, like in north korea :awesome:

As for numbers, dunno. 500k seems a bit much for a population that small, but if you others use the same scales, it may actually be very fine.

  2. The first. As for the efficiency rating, that just means you have better quality soldiers. Not necessarily better-equipped, but still better than the average soldier with the same equipment.

    'Kay.

To make the leader's comment in my thread 'true' (half a million soldiers), I went on and boosted mah military a bit.

    <.<

    >.>

    <.<

    50,196 (112,218) Soldiers

    *cough*

Of course, in character, it'll take a while to reach such a force. RP-wise, I currently have only about 60k or something.

  3. Like I said, you'll find out in a second when I get around to posting it.

We thank Saboria for their assistance, although we don't believe we'll need it. However, the gesture was incredibly kind (especially for someone we've exchanged words with only once).

The diplomat replies, "The military access is, of course, only for the duration of the conflict. And of course, we hope to strengthen our ties with the participating nations this way. A survey has shown that almost 98% of the Saborian population support the move of granting the other nations military access."

  4. Hey man, I like his attitude. I think we'll get along, and I'd like to jump-start that relationship.

Plus, its not like there's anywhere ELSE to expand, meh?

    I'm establishing myself first.

Then I shall utterly annihilate even Uberstein with walls of texts that have a length of several A4-pages!

    Mwaaahahahahaha! [/madman]

On a more serious note, I'll finish the 'conversion' to Ubersteinianism first, I think. Then it's to conquest, if politically possible.

  5. Of course. In order to assist your recovering economy, all ships bearing the Saborian flag are allowed to pass through the Trans-Continental Canal at half-cost. Welcome to the world stage.

The same representative from earlier replies: We are grateful for this help and will surely not forget it. Thank you.

The representative bows, a sign of respect in Saboria.

OOC: Just out of curiosity: what's your nation's capital? :)

    [OOC]

Fictional city named Ferinh, on an island in Quebec.

    *Click*

I'd have used the city quebec, but that's taken by Bohovia, lol. :awesome:

  6. The Sarnungian Republic welcomes Saboria into the world, and would suggest not associating with the People of Freedom.

A representative of Saboria replies: "Currently, we have no plans of associating ourselves with any nation or alliance. Our priorities are our own nation and rebuilding what has been destroyed during the revolution. But we did hear about the 'People of Freedom', and not necessarily good things. We shall stay neutral to them, however, until they antagonise us.

On the note of our political stance, we currently are preparing several buildings for embassies from other countries. I will send requests for an embassy to our Office for International Relations, the OIR, which will send the answer to the requesting nation within a few days."

Meanwhile, another broadcast was fed into the TVs of the Saborian people.

The Saborian leader, Lynneth, spoke to them once again.

[OOC: For a pic, see my avatar, only with brown hair or something. And a slightly less ridiculous hair-style /OOC]

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

    Friends and Comrades.

For our first step towards glory, we must secure the nation and, among others, crush the partisans that even now are trying to stop destroy as much of our organisational structure as they can. For this, we not only need to strengthen our military, but also those standing behind them. To achieve this, military service will soon be mandatory for every man and woman at the age of twenty. Additionally, the standing army will be expanded to five hundred thousand men once the industrial sectors have recovered.

I will make further announcements within the next days and weeks, to keep you updated about the progress of the recovery.

    That is all.

    Glory to Saboria.

    [OOC]

I'm pretty much just 'working' my way up to my current ingame-standards. Uberstein also told me every IG-soldier is worth 10 here, so I'm considering that, too.

  7. National broadcast

    "Ladies and Gentlemen,

    Friends and Comrades.

I am here today because we have done what some in our country had considered impossible.

The old state was weak, crumbling into itself. A corrupt government, extremely capitalist corporations that offered working conditions almost equal to slavery.

An aging and arrogant president who thought himself to be sent by god.

All that, my friends, is now gone. We have freed ourselves from the chains that bound us. For all that which I have done, my capabilities as your leader - all that would never have been possible or seen without the help of you, the people.

While you have given me the power to change our new state how I see fit, forget not: If my doings are bad, then you can do what was done with the old government. But of course, I will do my best to make our country one that will be respected.

To accomplish that, much of the country must be changed greatly. In this, I have been inspired by a man across the Atlantic Ocean, in the north of Europe. We shall take his concepts of government and apply them to our great nation.

    That is all.

    Glory to Saboria."

With this, the broadcast ends, the leader, Lynneth, awaiting the reactions of the world

    [OOC]

I think it's pretty obvious that with 'a man across the Atlantic Ocean, in the north of Europe', this Uberstein fellow is meant. :awesome:

  8. just remember not to expand into some unclaimed territory. somebody will probably say its theirs and attack you for it

I may be a madman, but I'm not stupid. For now, no war. Unless someone attacks me, of course.

  9. Uberstein Empire, Imperial Wellington, New Triyunica, these guys are nasty if you cross them the wrong way.

    At 3.6k I'd say that's a reasonable claim.

Noted and hooray. Relocated my IG-capital for fun onto an island in Quebec.

OOC: I look forward to RPing with ya, as well. I used to be very inactive here on the forums (about 20+ posts), but I now have over 800+ posts. CNRP's THAT awesome. :awesome:

I hope you'll find me a good tactician and even better Roleplayer. :awesome:

But now, I must introduce myself. Properly, in character.

  10. >>Claim a spot here on the map. (Reasonably sized compared to your in game land area)

'Kay. Is this fine for 3.6k IG-miles? (Basically the rest of quebec)

    Thing156.gif

    >>Play to your In game stats.

    Noted.

    >>Generally don't be annoying.

I'm only annoying when I want to be hated. And I don't want to be hated by you guys

    >>Don't tick off the big boys.

Who are the big boys, so that I can make a note to not tick them off?

  11. [OOC]

Hi there. I thought about joining you guys here.

I have some experience as Roleplayer, although I'm very inactive here on the CNforums. Despite my Nation being over 700 days old <.<

    Saboria

As I'm new, I'd like someone to tell me a bit about how everything works. You can either PM me ingame or contact me on my msn, geggoever [at] hotmail . com

Looking forward to do some Roleplaying with you guise. :awesome:
