During my own career as an anti-paper activist I have seen the number of !@#$%^&* treaties increase with such rapidity that many nations that are just being created now have a far greater chance of going to a lifeless alliance where nothing will happen than of getting a decent Planet Bob experience. When many young people decide to join alliances like Monster's University in order to avoid the inevitability of boredom and deletion, it should cause us to wonder whether we should not try to introduce better alternatives.

An alliance should be an active internal community, if they are not then they should not call themselves an alliance but rather a retirement home. I am an advocate of treaties with lively alliances with good communication, if they are not then the paper should be set on fire. Monsters and other small but close knit alliances will be the future of this game if we do it right. Much like the Vietcong forces we fight every day, an elephant can kill thousands of ants but enough of them can take down an elephant when coordinated.

  2. I have come here to share some words of inspiration to help sooth many ruffled patches of fur here. While our kittens are out there fighting and dying in the jungles, you all are yelling and cannot find common ground. Lets take a moment to reflect... on peace...

How many times must the cannon balls fly
    Before they're forever banned?

The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

I don't see a problem with accepting a nation that conducted a tech raid, and was then attack on none after leaving their alliance. I see no qualms with the wars continuing until they end.

It actually appears that Stoli attacked 3 Alpha Wolves, twice while on an AA and then one just after leaving.

2million is an impressive goal to reach and legit benchmark everyone looks forward to but those wars look more like rogue activity.

  4. SPATR hasn't forgotten an alleged WFF bandwagon? I do like the sound of your voice on a dark and lonely night, but not while speaking for others; let them say these things if it's their desire to bring up old stuff. That's the problem with most people around here, always complaining about old stuff. I am still mad about stuff that went down in Karma, should I cry about it? UJWII was a sad state of affairs, should I cry about some old news there too? I really do like to read that at least (two?) people remember the WFF fondly on the OWF these days and that includes you Mister Hitchcock.

I know who it is about, I guess you took what I said out of context, and tried to make it personal. It is possible to talk about two separate incidents without referencing to the other incidents.

I was talking about diplomacy, and how Kashmir wasn't making threats, and offered a solution to both parties. The person I quoted didn't take what I said the wrong way, I'm not sure why you did.

If you have something to say about a different topic, besides quoting me talking to other people about separate incidents, my private messages are open to you. I look forward to hearing from you.

I think I love you and I want everyone to know, we don't need a pm for that. Please forgive me for being so emotionally mixed up and confused right now.

It's better than a whole alliance making threats.

You mean better than many whole alliances working in diplomacy? This thread is about this young lady and kashmir dancing, lets leave the dancefloor to them. My private messages are open to you if you have some venting to get done.

I think what Wes is meaning is that all of us in the alliance enjoy a good war and have no objections to fighting for a long time (personally I could fight continously for years if there was the cause).  In this specific case however there seems little value in either side fighting as we prefer our wars to be just and with some meaning rather than purely for the sake of it (as with rogues).  As this all started due to a misunderstanding and rightful retaliation against rogue nations who were ghosting our alliance with that variable out of the way peace is the obvious way to go since as far as I can make out there would be no meaning behind continuing for either party.  Where we differed in this is being ordered to kick somebody by an outside authority or we would be destroyed.  It was stated from the start that they could be dealt with how the opposing alliance saw fit and that they held no position within the alliance however we would not be kicking them with a gun pointed to our heads as it would impinge on the sovereign nature of the alliance.  I'm afraid that saying this is "just the way things are" is wrong.  It may be just the way things are if there is a large size difference but I have been part of many negotiations in the past as part of a larger alliance where things have been very easily and peacefully resolved.  Regardless of who is right or wrong though, lets keep civil guys ;)

Absolutely, we are no longer looking to take out rogues on your AA because the rogues are gone. You and I personally have discussed this by private means and I do believe we're all set here, something got confused during all this owf talk but as I see it, it continues as we discussed; no new wars and all wars are to end naturally and we go our separate ways into the sunset. Just don't be harboring ATG/PK multis in the future when they attack me.

If you are saying your letting the Alpha Wolves off the hook...

I'd be interested in more elaboration here too. We came in to do a fast operation with a clear goal, the goal was accomplished and Kiwis were forgiven for harboring multis and rogues... because without multis and rogues, what kind of game would this be? Now if you want to say you're letting wolves go, I can understand that you might be frustrated at a time like this; having us come in as we pleased and then losing like 4 nations to admins and such... but remember, I didnt even know who you were a few days ago and all of this could have been avoided.

  9. I did make it very clear that you pretty much had to kick those guys or some stuff was gonna go down. You read the last message and then did not reply. The obvious choice was war because diplomacy had failed and your AA seems to be full of rogues, at least 3 or 4 verified.

Let me remind you of our relationship before this incident:

  10. Thank you for the clarification, I knew Kashmir wouldn't sneak attack us with only one nation unless that nation was yolo... That guy can take down a brigade with just a toothpick from what I heard.

We recognize a state of war with all ATGs and Hardins out there, anyone who spots one should attack on sight.

This is Operation Meowing Thunder: Redux

  11. 2007-2012 was intermittently the Federal era of Nord Belka

then we partied off line for 2yrs, it was grand and lots of sim city was played.

2014-present is the Republic era of Nord Belka
