    Why are you so mad?

Hahaha, exactly what I was thinking. You would think MK would be happy after forcing VE to make up a CB so that MK can finally roll Polar.

I love people who like to argue with the propaganda sigs :lol1:

    Hahaha, nice one.

Also, D34th's work is awesome as always.

  4. Every time a thread like this is created someone seems to suggest that what the game really needs is a mass reset or a way to accomplish such a reset without Admin's intervention. That is the worst possible thing that could happen to this game. You do realize that the reason most people haven't left is because of the time they have put into their nations. As humans, we see little difference in the attachment we feel when putting our time and effort into a real world accomplishment and into a virtual accomplishment. If 1, 2, 3, or even 4 years of work was erased, there would be a lot less players than there are now. Many people claim to only stick around for the community but I would bet anything that a person who deletes his/her nation stops checking forums and going on IRC a lot sooner than someone who continues to keep their nation going even in a half-assed manner (yes, certain exceptions may exist, but I'm talking majority here).

Now this isn't to say I'm against a global war that might knock down people's infra levels, but the majority of players won't go for deleting their infra (and tech if it was an option) and wouldn't bother recreating a nation if Admin did a reset.

Hahahah, joke competition couldn't even properly tabulate winners (the Fark thing was broken) and the ones you came out with are utter jokes. NpO and UPN, goliaths of the battlefield indeed

    I pity all involved

Each alliance only had to select 10 of their members. Whether or not an alliance is known as a good fighting alliance, it is still very likely that there are at least 10 decent fighters wearing that AA (at least for alliances with 100+ members). It is also very likely that those that enjoy fighting and are decent fighters were the ones that volunteered for this competition. Therefore, just because an alliance, in your opinion, is not known for being great fighters, does not mean they couldn't have fielded a great team. Your attempt to correlate past global war performance with results in this competition are seriously flawed due to the aforementioned reasons.

  6. I logged in to my nation, 10 minutes after update, and proceeded to pay my bills. I then went to the navy purchase screen and wanted to buy my navy vessels for the day as I have the past few days. However, it said I had already made my purchases for the day and cannot buy anymore. I was watching hockey the previous 2 hours and could not have possibly logged in to my nation within the 10 minutes after update but before I paid my bills. If you look at my nation chart my nation has not grown in size since yesterday. Had I bought additional navy after update today there would have been an increase. Any help would be appreciated.

  7. I don't believe your agenda exists. Sure, it is a question of faith, but I just don't have that faith. I believe those that believe in your agenda are limiting their own free-thinking and are using your agenda as an excuse to do as they please, even if your agenda does not really approve of those actions. Sure, they will claim your agenda must exist because their posts say it exists. And their posts must be true because it is a response to your agenda. It is a circular argument that I do not wish to support. Granted, I am not a scholar on the subject and have only dabbled in a reading of an agenda-post here and there, so I could be way off and really regret my non-belief in your agenda when I am forced to spend eternity in Valhalla.

I must say getting back in the top 5% once again is definitely something that keeps me playing. I see it as an achievable goal, and damn near did it before the last war.

Regardless, boredom is the biggest problem with the game at this point. A major shakedown would increase activity and increase members.

Don't ask me how to achieve that other than a possible reset.

There is nothing worse that can be done to this game than a reset. The last thing people who have spent months/years + real money want to do is start all over again. I would say that the most optimistic estimate would see at least 50% of current players decide not to return. The only players that would want to stick around are new players that don't want to play catch up to the old players. Most new players don't seem to stick around anyway. It is a lose lose.
