    While we were on opposite sides I think that you (along with USN and IAA RIP) were very honourable in not canceling your treaty and sticking to your guns. I think it's always honourable to fight for treaties, keeping them a meaninful aspect of planet Bob, even if you're on the wrong side. I'm glad our alliances were able to fight against one another with such honour. And I am glad you have paid off your debt and are now free to start growing as an alliance and I hope the relationship between CSN and NpO may grow as well.

    Your former leader has never had a shred of respect for Ragnarok whatsoever, so forgive us if we don't hold him in very high regard.

    Having said that, I do honestly hope that RoK/NpO relations can now improve and I ask MegaAros to stay respectful and on topic in this thread. :)

    I am sorry you feel this way about our former Emperor, but I never asked for you to hold him in high regard, but to just keep the negative sentiments as low as possible in public, if that would be alright, at least out of respect to our new Sponge-less administration that I am positive has shown you no ill-will so far (for he is still a polar and they still highly respect ES and wish no trolling towards him). And I deeply hope that RoK/NpO relations can improve as well because you were one of the alliances I most deeply respected before this terrible conflict. Ok, now this will be my last off-topic post....I hope. ;)

    Like Tela said, this is getting off topic, so this'll be my last post in this thread.

    I don't remember Polars giving the same respect to a befallen noWedge. As a matter of a fact, I remember quite a bit of mockery to noWedge.

    As for the community having a negative opinion of him- I have always had a negative opinion of ES, whether this community said he was bad or not, but once again, I understand you respect him, for whatever reason. My friend, I cannot sympathize.

    I am sorry it is off-topic, but I defend my Emperor, current or former, even if it means doing so in the improper forums. As for noWedge, well... I didn't say anything about former Valhalla politicans now did I? :P This will be my last off-topic post in this thread as well.

    I say his "madness" only as the community sees it and only as how I saw it back then. I do understand he was great to the NpO, but he wasn't to \m/ and hasn't been to quite a few alliances.

    Perspective I suppose. I never could understand why you Polars always loved Sponge. I'm sure if I were a Polar, I would know why.

    If you were a Polar you would have enough inhibitions not to publically bash a hypothetically dethroned Hoo even if you felt that the community had a negative opinion of him, so I ask for the same respect to our former leader. Thankyou.

    Interesting how NPO claims to have lost its allies in the UJP yet this crops up. Although, NPO has new friends now I suppose, and shall stand by their word. If Sponge's madness had been seen back then, perhaps these alliances may still yet exist and be free to do so.

    Even though Electron Sponge is no longer our Emperor, he was our beloved leader and is still our comrade and Polaris strongly frowns upon trolling him. So please stop. :angry:

    While I personally think trolling can at times be...entertaining, this is not the Polaris way, so I commend you for your apology, KP, and new year resolution-like statement. Good luck in this endeavor and I would like to take this time to apologise myself on behalf of my nation, the United States of Islam, for any trolling I may have conducted as an Ayatollah in recent times or in the past: Sorry IRON and Pacifica. And sorry GOONs and \m/. Sorry anyone I might have trolled, but didn't realize I was trolling.

    Removing Electron Sponge from his position was very unpleasant for me. One way I will be mitigating this is by removing myself as well. Sponge was our greatest Emperor. I was involved in some way with leading the alliance since October of 2006. Now neither of us do. On a personal level, I think it something I had to do.

    Our new government is very talented and have a fantastic outlook on the situation. I will remain at the Emperor's disposal and will serve as he sees fit, however I will be content to avoid leadership in the New Polar Order for quite some time.

    Edit: OOC: I also just need a damn break. R.I.P. Random: Secret Stealth Emperor October 2006 to July 2008.
