I don't really care about the argument that's going on in this thread. I think the more relevant question is what Athens is going to be doing for KoN in the figures of numbers. I don't really see an apology on the OWF replenishing their numbers any time soon, and I find it hard to believe that none of their government has been on since the beginning of this thread, on the 14th.
So what's going on?
They lost over 150,000 NS over this, so I'd hope there's aid involved.

I think these apologies will be well accepted after there is a period of time to see that lessons have actually been learned. It is easy to say that you're sorry, but it's another to mean it. And when you mean it, your actions do change.
So in about a month, I'll know if this was genuine or not.
But I know better than to believe that everyone can change on the drop of a pin after months of repetition.Nevertheless, thank you.

I really hate all the crying that every side seems to be doing about reps. For god's sakes, they aren't a bragging term, and you shouldn't be upset about them. So you had to pay them, get over it. You win some, you lose some. It's a part of the gig. Don't want to pay reps? Go join a hippy alliance like GPA. You will never win every battle. So for god sakes, will you all get over the reps? I really don't care how much Athens had to pay, they're obviously not hurting now, so why in the world does it even matter? In the long run, it won't matter how much TPF paid either.
You can all sit here and bawww however long you'd like, but it's not going to change anything that happened in the past, and you're all going to have a fight over opinions where no one is right or wrong. There is absolutely no way to compare a new alliance at war, and it's reps, with an alliance that was Sanctioned, lost 8/9ths' of all of it's strength, and had to pay reps too. I remember that war with Athens. They had reps, they paid them, and others gave them white peace.
If you always spend your time at the top, there is no motivation at all to go anywhere. Everyone needs to be brought down to rebuild at some point. It's the point of Cybernations. So why are we all arguing over it again?

I agree with you. But I do reserve the right to interject my thoughts on any matter that concerns my alliance which is filled with a great group of people who would do anything for each other. Good ol' boy Schatt is painting a picture of VE as imperialists in the same light as what many considered NPO to once be and anyone who knows VE knows that the artist known as Schattenmann is incorrect. Maybe when your alliance is the subject of derision by a self appointed judge and jury, you'll understand.
It has been, many times, and I've realized that people will believe what they want. He put it out there, the best way to react with it is to laugh with it. The second you get all upset about it, you paint some sort of legitimacy to it. Laughing with it just makes it funny, and lighthearted.

This was very entertaining. I enjoyed reading it. The player opinions certainly gave me a chuckle.
I don't see the point in bawwing that this was biased or whatever. It's on the forums, deal with it. Take it as truth or fiction or let it alone. I doubt that if you scream bias or bad intent that Schattenmann will fall over sideways apologizing and cry himself to sleep. It was entertaining, and that's all I, and most of Bob, really care about.

Awww, TSI is one, how cute.
Man, has it been a long year. Let me tell you. There are a few people that stuck by us from the beginning. To them, I owe everything. There's also some other people that left a couple times, but always come back with more to offer. Even though it sounds odd, I also owe them a lot too. I think this whole announcement is just going to be me rambling, so it should be quite fun.
I really don't know what I'd do without some of these people. They're really awesome, and we have so much fun together.
I've gotten so many questions over the past year as to what Sasori means, where we got it from, if we're all Naruto fans or something crazy, or if I was just drunk one night and threw letters together. Well, since it's apparently such a secret, the alliance is based off of the Zodiac, the Scorpio. The Japanese just came in because it was something that no one was really doing at the time, and we had quite a few fans of the Japanese history periods. (I'm an Edo period fan myself.) But yeah, no Naruto, no animal obsession, just the fact that a lot of the founding group were Scorpios, and we liked the qualities of the Scorpio.
Sorry if that ruins the mystique, but I would cry myself to sleep if people thought it was a Naruto alliance.
I have to give a special shoutout in this to Vlad Dracula, because if he didn't kick me out of TGE, TSI never would have founded, I never would have met some of my best friends, Lord Cyvole, Dethodav, CoheedCambria, Tokugawa, Kaiser Stefan (we miss you!), and a bunch of others never would have helped me come up with the idea, and I never would have been able to make TSI. He also helped me meet one of the most awesome people in the world after I was kicked(but that's a secret!), and one of the most awesome before I was. And even though I was all upset then, I now know that getting kicked out was prolly one of the best thing that could have happened to me, and the fellow founders of TSI. So here's lookin' at you Vladdypoo.
There's so many other people that I could give shoutouts to that helped us out, but I think they know who they are. If for some reason, you absolutely have to know if I consider you one, you can just query me, and I will tell you just how lovely you are and all that jazz. If I had to name alliances, then I'd also spend way too long, but I will say that TPF is awesome, and our BFF's, and we couldn't do it without them.
I also have to give another special shoutout to Slayer, who did enough snooping at first to find my myspace, which apparently was the thing that sold the deal for the protectorate (I was only informed a few weeks ago). I must say that I find that particularly hilarious, and applaud him on his super sleuth skillz of googling my name. I know the rest of TPF loved us all for our budding potential, (I'm serious) and they've been awesome ever since. Slayer was always quite the awesome person. No, this is not sarcasm. Love you forever Slayer. <3
Edit: Oh lord, I'm stupid, and forgot. We have two new forum skins! I worked oh so hard to find them, and I have to thank BacTalan from Gremlins from the bottom of my heart for helping me install them, and James Maximus for making the banners. I love you guys. So check them out, and tell me which one you like better. It would make me happy.
Sooooo, I guess to finish up, we're one year old, and we'll cry if we want to, and we'll be around to bother you for another year if we all feel like it. It's either that or a trip to Aruba, we'll see. So yeah, that's all I got! Party in #tsi, yadda yadda, come give us a drink or you'll hurt my feelings. I feel we should end this in classic song.

After a bit of a wait, I'm so very happy to have left our protectorate with TPF, and moved on to something more equal. It's been a pleasure working with them for the past year, and it's wonderful to see them out of terms.

I didn't accuse TSI of not having credibility. I accused Shurukian of sharing information gotten from an ODP partner with an MDoAP partner. No one was even particularly surprised that she might have done it. She said she didn't do it. We think she did, because of X, Y, Z. It's all been hashed out, it's over. Believe what you want, the evidence has been put in front of you.
So now this changed from an accusation on TSI, to just an accusation on me.
And yes, the evidence is in front of everyone. It just so happens that none of it is from you.

I posted our evidence already, I don't know why you are ignoring it. I am still convinced that you told mhawk the substance of our conversation, especially since it could not have been Mary who told mhawk (as you claimed)... at least not directly. Because 1) I never said anything like that around her, or showed NPO anything more than unfailing politeness and attempts to reconcile the rest of Karma with them in the peace negotiations. And because 2) A very trusted source told me that word had gotten to NPO of a very specific set of comments because I had been "running my mouth to people." Not because I had directly told NPO, or they had somehow deduced it.
I did not "go after TSI". Athens canceled a treaty. There is no curbstomp going on.
That's funny, link me to your proof? I don't see anything other than you believing something you heard, and insulting of us in back channels because of it. Is that what levels as proof for you, Londo?
And you can clearly see what happened with Mary. I said it in my statement. Not everyone thought your "oh, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't even have terms!" statements were of a pure and kind heart.
