Well my opinion behind turtling is this: I don't think I'd ever use that tactic, I've tried it oince in the past, it seemed effective because I'm good when it comes to backing people into the verbal corner, and eventually I got them to pay much of the reps so that I would stop hitting him with these missiles and my 80 aircraft compared to his receding 25, because ultimately, he lost more when figured into cash than I did, and then after that I just rebought more than 85% of what I lost and his nation came off incredibly injured and I'd say it took him around another 5 months to partically recover while it took me 2 weeks to get back to what I had before he had attacked. I've been blitz'd by 3 nations at a time who were larger than me on my old nation, I stood and fought, though given, I don't think I could do that nearly as easily with this new nation, considering it's several hundred times easier to defend against large nations when you have nukes However, for most nations around 3k - 9k NS turtling is a great method as long as you don't accept peace from your attackers, because if your nation is about 8k NS, and your attackers are around 15k NS, then his infra/tech costs FAR more than yours. Thus before turtling most smart nations buy 50 or so cruise missles and some destroy improvements of their afterwords,some even have a great aircraft force so they keep it up. That way during all the days of the war you are firing several CM's causing 17 infra and 6-7 tech in damage as well as some tanks, and they aren't gaining anything, in fact, they are losing a lot of infra and as I mentioned early in my post, some will even offer reps so that you'll stop attacking since they AREN'T GAINING ANYTHING and they losing several months worth of work. Though again I'd much rather join in and attack back with ground attacks in all, using my own tactics which I as well as other quite large nations find very very useful. Thogh, as I also mentioned earlier, I don't think I could hold up the attacks like that against a nuclear nation without nukes myself, and if given the chance, no one wants to be in this situation unless of course they quit and want to go out with a bang.

I have a lot of tech that I don't particularly need so I figured I'd do another tech deal. No, the prep is far harder to do, but it is much more rewarding, but I suppose that's a bit off topic. ----------------------- Would I be better off keeping one barrack and then selling the rest of the barracks and the remaining guerilla camp for banks? Or would it be better to do factories?

Alright so good, atleast I have an idea and something to shoot for. I'll start backcollecting once I finish up my wars and buy into factories and etc. ^^ Oh and to answer the question about how I got the money- I do a lot of tech deals, but my secret and biggest source is cash raiding. I've stopped cash raiding for the time being and reverted back to Tech raiding, as C-raids are kind of risky. Anyway thank you for the feedback =D

Last question I think: So how much money do you presume it would cost to get to the top 5% from my current standing, assuming I spend nearly everything on infra and then obviously some soldiers.

So do you think with 53 mil I would be able to get into that top 5%? And means just me buying infra purely btw.

What about other military wonders though? I'm not only speaking of those two wonders but also I'm somewhat considering these: Anti-aircraft defense network. Foreign Airforce base. I have sixty aircraft atm, all of which are very high level for a nation of my size, and a total aircraft strength of 325 fighter strength, and quite a bit bomber, so anything to do with aircraft really would give me a mega-boost.

But I'm aggressive myself, and I want a wonder that supports that.

May I ask what the pentagon actually does though?

I'm a smaller nation, I used to have one before this one but I ended up deleting it and starting fresh. Now, I currently have about $50,000,000, and don't tell me "Oh well then buy more improvements" please, because I can do that at any point, but I'd rather buy a wonder right now rather than buy improvements that I could buy later on when I'm not sitting on so much money, watch my luck xD if I wait much longer some alliance will like hit me up hard for no real reason T_T Anyway, cutting to the chase: I want to know what wonder serves best for a smaller nation like myself, one that is incredibly war mongering mind you. So yeah, war related please, I already know stock market is a good one, and I may choose that at a later date, but for now I just want to know what you think I should get for a war related wonder. Also I want to know your opinion of Pentagon and Manhattan Project, at the moment I don't have enough for a Manhattan project but if the majority opinion thinks it's good I'll probably continue saving for it ^^. Pentagon, well I've never quite been sure how exactly that works. e.e I'm not sure what exactly it means and it seems like not too many people actually think of it as worth the money.

So I'm selling 50 tech of mine for 1.4 mil, which is cheaper by 100,000 than anyone else' topic so far that I've seen. It isn't much but it can add up if you become a permanent partner with me. ^^ I get an average of 50 tech every 2 weeks from friends and people that just want to help out. If you want to supply a middle man, then you'll get 100 tech same day. But if you feel comfortable waiting then you'll get 50 tech today, then another fifty in ten days. I've recently went from 1200 to 300 from an attacking nation of which attacked three times with a reason of Whoops. I desperately need 3 mil to rebuild the lost infra, the 100 tech I lost, the 500 land I lost, and etc. Again this one is needed. Please send me some aid soon. Nation link.

Alright you know what screw this, this isn't getting me anywhere. -.- I'll have a mod lock this and leave the help to people who already said they may help, hopefully TFD can take care of it on their own though.

I'm looking for maybe an alliance that wants to to maybe send one or two people who are ahead of him to attack him. Looks like TFD may already have hold of that though lol. He stole 3 mil from them yesterday. And at the moment he only has 3000 troops defending and no tanks at all. He also has a low tech level, if I hadn't of undeployed all my stuff earlier, I'd attack him with everything I've got. EDIT: And he's in defcon 5. This is irritating. He's taunting me.

Real civilized we are. @Prince Aurthora: I didn't start multiple topics regarding this, this is my only one. Dude, check your facts. Secondly, I asked for some suggestions, not people second guessing me. I never asked for a 4000 word post of questions. Oh and I don't have "Several alliances in the last three days" I quit out of TFD a while ago, then joined Tyberian covenent but after seeing their forums I saw that they were quite inactive and I disliked that, so I resigned. Those are the only two alliances I've ever been in. Once again, 'independent" is not an alliance, I just put that there in place of the word none. @PeteMardle: If you really want to know why I resigned, it's because of the Terry Howard thing, not the tech raiding, not the neutral, I told Circlewood that in private but felt that it was more of a personal thing and kept it out of the resignation. So there everyone, if you're going to just say "Well then join an alliance." Don't post. I've already heard the suggestion. If that's all you would post. Don't post. If you're going to say that you don't think I'm doing this right, without offering any VALID suggestions, don't post. I figured most of this was common sense and that I didn't have to ask that you just stay on topic to the thread. -.- So with that, how about some war suggestions? Slightly more advanced tips or something for those in my situation? Or maybe a bit of alliance help, as in help from an alliance, not about alliances, not regarding joining, not talking about who I should join, help from alliances. I send peace a few attacks, and normally don't inflict all that much damage anyway.
