I'm sorry, I had something nice to say, but then the thought of chocolate-covered bacon made me forget it.
You aren't the only one who was afflicted in this way. Anyway, go us! Don't worry, Yohan, I will get a Hidden Nuclear Silo some day soon to raise the number of nukes.

Go us! Alright, alright I get the hint. I started buying nukes again yesterday, Yohan.

TPF fought well and hard, and they earned their peace. Good luck with the rebuilding o/
It was fun having two rounds of war with you, Hizzy. At any rate, congrats to TPF on finally getting peace. I am glad to see it.

I am glad to see this announced finally! Good luck guys. I am sure the alliance will develop nicely under your guidance.

Are you serious, why would you form an alliance filled with people who got destroyed in war?
Well, we have nothing left to lose so why not?
-
Can I raid you? I believe you are no longer a PoW and not under protection anymore since many of your members have been a PoW for far more than 30 days...
I can't speak for Emperor Italy, but I do know that he just surrendered within the past week, so he is still officially a POW. It is hard for me to understand why people have stayed in for over 30 days or after the existing POWs were released a couple weeks ago. I will be out of this place as soon as I am allowed.

o/Karma POW
Long live the new emperor! We are a forced to be reckoned with now that we are up to 5 WRCs!

I, malazar of Jinnailand, resign from TPF and the current wars and surrender to the forces of Karma.

I thank Emperor Chimaera for exonerating me and his kind words, after all the evidence was laid out. Rebecca knew which strings of mine to pull, but no more. Third time is the charm, she won't be able to pull those strings anymore. She took advantage of my kindness for the last time. I suppose you could say, it's karma? That she ended up this way I guess. Needless to say, this brings me great joy.
I am very glad to see that this mess will hopefully be able to be put behind you once and for all.

I am very glad to see my good friends in the AOD Brigade joining P.E.A.C.E. and having closer ties with your purple brothers and sisters. I miss being purple myself and have a bit of purple envy.

Glad to see this announced. I hope you have good luck and a wonderful time with the new alliance, YouMaka.

Congrats to the new government.

I've been wondering whether or not any of those surrenders and nations abandoning ship were actually doing so in order to escape the war and rebuild their nations outside of peace mode, so that, if the NPO ever does get terms (or more likely, from what has to be the NPO point-of-view, the various Karma alliances simply get bored and give up), they'd be in a strong position to immediately return to the fold and help rebuild.
Honestly, if I was a member of the NPO, I'd have been recommending that as a strategy weeks ago. Since it's a curbstomp anyway, and there's absolutely no way to win, why not make it seem like you're getting hurt worse than you really are, transfer essential resources out of the war so they'll be safe for later rebuilding and recovery, and basically roll over and play possum until your enemy gets bored with poking the corpse?
I have often wondered why that wouldn't be a viable strategy, but surrendering on an individual level has such a negative stigma that for the most part people seem to rather avoid that as a whole even if it would be smart for alliances to advocate their banks or large nations surrendering early. In my alliance we have a zero tolerance surrender policy and I imagine NPO probably has something similar.
Hypothetically, since there is nothing preventing this in the individual surrender terms outside of a possible 30 day POW period without the ability to aid, I wonder what would happen if those top NPO nations all did such a thing. Would then the war come to a close since the peace mode argument would disappear?

Nice work by all involved parties. We may be at war, but you have my respect PC in being willing to work out a solution to this problem.

California is not protected. Just because you say they are doesn't make it so. If a 1 man alliance says alliance X or nation Y is under his protection, would TPF respect that? Of course not, no one would, because a 1 man alliance is incapable of protecting anyone. The same principle applies to TPF. You are incapable of protecting anyone, hence, TPFs protection of California is moot.
A friend and I used to have "Protected by zoomzoomzoom of conorea" in our bios and no one ever bothered with us or the rest of our micro alliance due to our frightening 1 man protector!

Take that The AUT, Brandon Simonson, Rajistani, Alterego, Thom98, mhawk and malazar
I can't speak for the others but I never implied that this raid was Karma's fault. I just found the double standard applied by some posters to be interesting. Certainly others from Karma alliances already expressed their disapproval, so I would never paint the whole group of being guilty for the actions of one the misfits from Poison Clan. From what it seems like in reading the recent pages of post, it looks like Karma has handled the situation well if it is on its way to a resolution, so cheers to them on that.

Heres the thing, TPF COULD defend their protectorate if they wanted to. THey can bring all those nations out of peace and fight PC with an even stronger force than they are right now. Why they havent is beyond me. Or its just that TPF doesnt want to put the infra of their big nations on the line to defend one of their protectorates
Most of our biggest nations, with a couple exceptions, have already hit or been extremely close to ZI during this war. Of our current top 20 nations in NS, 5 of them I can remember being in the top 20 before the war. Of those 5, 3 of them are at around 1000 or less infrastructure, one is around 2000, and one seems to have been hiding in peace mode since after the first round of wars ended. Sorry sir, but this idea is a myth. People go into peace mode for their 5 days or so if the enemy gives them the opportunity so that we can come out and declare offensively where needed at that point. In a war where our nations are constantly dog piled, it is the only option to have any initiative on the battlefield.
-
Do you really believe that your current government bears no responsibility for the fate of TPF?
What I believe is irrelevant to the issue. It is simply a matter of consistency that I am questioning.
-
once again, this was not the decision of Karma, but that of PC... stop crying "KARMA!" every time something happens, not just you, but all of the hegemony 'criers'
Well, if those of us in certain alliances are painted with a certain negative brush due to past wrongs of previous governments that haven't been in control for 9 months, isn't it only fair to hold Karma to the same sort of standard in regards to what a Karma alliance is doing? You don't get to have it one way when it's convenient and then ignore your logic when it comes home to roost.
-
Maybe it's just me, but a year-and-a-half-long protectorate seems a bit much. At some point a protected alliance either needs to grow up and walk on its own or admit they're going nowhere and disband.
Why? Some alliances don't have aspirations to be large. There's nothing wrong with being a perpetual protectorate in those circumstances.

Kingzog, if I don't hate NoR, I doubt anyone in TPF does either.
I wasn't too fond of Kingzog having tech sent to one of my opponents, so I had to blow it up.
-
By teh way, the reloading crap? Only 2 out of the top 10 TPF nations in peace mode are capable of replenishing nukes. Enjoy your dwindling WC TPF.
You keep coming up with this peace mode stuff and claims that we are afraid of damage, but it just isn't accurate. Out of our top 20 pre-war nations, outside of a couple surrenders, most of us are at or well on our way to ZI. No one has been ducking battle here.
-
Won't be long 'till The Phoenix Federation has a lower score than FAN going at this rate, lol... How long have you been at war for TPF?
It has only been a bit over three weeks.
-
not really all that shocked to see some people saying "bandwagon" but glad to see the majority of TPF including mhawk saying... "no"
I don't think most of us in TPF really care if another 10 alliances declare on us since we will likely all have 3 defensive wars at all times anyways. If anything, most of us find the number of alliances against us more amusing than anything else. That being said it doesn't seem like bandwagoning to me either.
