  1. If she's going for someone, I can tell you, she won't be alone. Unfortunately for you, that other someone isn't a girl. :P

That is to be expected.  This won't be my first time at the bottom of a dogpile.  I am used to the feeding frenzy associated with it.  Unfortunately, due to the peace mode timer I might fall below your range or get countered by someone else.  We'll see how it goes!

  2. hi beautiful, oooooh you are just my type... mmhmmm right in my range too, i love a boy who talks dirty. *blows a kiss*

Excellent.  I will look forward to it!  None of these other alliances that jumped in seem to be doing anything to me, so it seems appropriate that you do it. :ehm:

  3. Don't forget to take into account the fact that you have had a significant tech advantage over me. Do believe me when I say I've done my best, but I'm pretty sure I've done more than lob cruise missiles at you. :P

Yeah, I said the first three days.  You have been active since last night.  You haven't achieved a real defeat alert.  That was just an attempted attack after a nuke and had no penalty associated with it.

This, however, is what a real one looks like.  :awesome:

Message: Your nation has been defeated in battle. You
do not have enough troops to defend your nation and your government has
been thrown into Anarchy. You have lost all of your tanks, 17 spies,
136.26 infrastructure has been destroyed, 34.06 technology was lost and
$5,000,000.00 of your money reserves was destroyed due to the invasion
and resulting riots. What troops you did have deployed have also been
    returned home.
  4. I feel ya mate. I am having a blast with HalfEmpty and malazar, though I do feel bad for malazar. He needs someone to go in and train his air force.

No kidding! This is a perpetual problem for me.  If they keep it up, I am going to buy them just some old bi-planes.  It can't hurt their performance too much.  Oh well, such as it is, I have been enjoying our fight as you have been a good, spirited opponent despite having 5 opponents at one point.  That always gets my respect. KahlanRahl, who just lobbed cruise missiles or did nothing for the first few days of war, has woken up now too, so I am optimistic that front will become more fun too.  That's all I really care about.

  5. hahahahaha. You and HalfEmpty got real lucky with my aircraft. Apparently my pilots were drunk on the job.

Oh don't worry.  I am usually someone with quite unfortunate luck as far as aircraft and nukes go as the guy who it took 24 launches to hit one day can attest.  I am sure it will even out quickly.  I'll take what I can get for now!

  6. Good luck revolutionary rebel and the members of The Alternian Empire!  Contrary to what some of the nay-sayers are saying, I believe TPF to be one of the best protector alliances in the game.  Sure, I may be biased since I am a member, but I also had a lot of experience having been a long time member of one of their protectorates/allied micro-alliances in the AOD Brigade.  I look forward to working with you all and seeing your growth and development over time!

  7. AoD Brigade (12/2007) - founding member

UPN (a few months in 2008) - left AOD Brigade to force then leader of AOD Brigade to accept the reality that they couldn't survive without a protectorate

    TPF (mid-2008 until July 2009)

Zero Hour (July 2009 - January 2010) - disbanded - The events around this and friends leaving the game as a result basically sapped my enthusiasm for CN.

AoD Brigade (January 2010 - September 2012) - back to where it began until the remaining members either disappeared due to inactivity or went separate ways.  During this period, I basically just collected every couple weeks and was otherwise inactive wondering why I hadn't just allowed myself to be deleted.

    TPF (September 2012 - present)

  8. Well, I knew this day would come from the moment I first read about the true origins of the alliance on the day the Athens/TPF war started. Nevertheless, I was sad to see it come but it seems like an appropriate outcome. Having joined ZH from TPF at the beginning with no knowledge of the plot, it was rather disturbing to see that I had been in an alliance that was built on spying since I never saw any evidence of anything like that going on. Most people seemed happy to be in a smaller, tighter alliance and perhaps that is why the leadership had a change of heart regarding their original mission.

After hearing about the origins, I immediately felt betrayed by the other ex-TPF members of Zero Hour since apparently every one I asked knew about it except me. After pondering things, I decided to stick with the alliance until any threats of war against us had passed since despite my ignorance, I did not wish to bail on the alliance since I still liked the people involved on a personal level. As far as I see it, there are potentially three aggrieved parties from this whole mess: Athens, Zero Hour members who didn't know what was going on, and TPF. Athens has forgiven ZH. Personally, I have chosen to forgive the leadership which led us astray. It seems most other members who were not in the know have chosen to forgive the leadership. Some TPF members seem to have a forgiving nature while others will not as is their choice. The rest of the peanut gallery can make their own judgments as mostly uninvolved parties.

Disbandment seems like the ultimate penalty to what had grown into a tight knit community. Sure, people could have taken our infrastructure and whatever else, but to be honest we had only had that since August as we had long since given that up in defense of TPF in the Karma War. Either way, it's time to move on.

  9. You absolutely do not know that because it absolutely is false. ZH's purpose was to be their own alliance. To get back to a smaller community and away from the drama of TPF.

That's why I joined ZH, but overall the evidence shows otherwise unfortunately, Roadie. I found it hard to believe when I read about the conspiracy the other day, but it is hard to argue against the validity of it simply because I would wish it be otherwise.

  10. The second one is the one Kilkenny keeps bringing up. It involved selecting a group of roughly 20 nations to leave TPF, surrender and rebuild, and then return to TPF post war. . Here ZH admits that they were surrendering so that at some point after the war, they could return to TPF as strong, rebuilt nations.

The plans outlined in the OP were the three plans TPF had I believe. Only the first plan was relevant to ZH and the issue at hand. Having been chosen to participate in the second plan by Kilkenny, ZH was never intended as part of that rebuilding TPF post-war/paying reps plan since frankly none of ZH had any money since we were all coming off of prolonged time at ZI so that would be a silly location to send people. That plan was to have us go to friendly allied alliances that were out of the war and being rebuilt so we could either return to TPF post-war or at least help pay reps or rebuild other beaten down nations. As far as I know, this plan never really caught on or was followed up on considering I never heard from anyone in govt. again after a day or two after I surrendered with any of the arrangements for aid or an alliance. That is when I said screw it and joined ZH and arranged my own aid from outside sources which were not involved with that plan.

  11. Most TPF membership wasn't in the know, all original ZH membership was in the know.

The first part of that statement may be true, but the second part of your statement is not true unless you are only counting the original two members. In another thread, the third member of the alliance and former minister of internal affairs knew nothing of the plan. I was the sixth member and didn't learn of this until the rest of the world did yesterday. I would estimate that maybe 5 or 6 members total knew about it prior to this week. Those involved are already discussed in the OP, so refer to those logs.

  12. ZH didn't call off an op. They decided to not do one. IE it never got out of the idea stage and into an actual op.

This is an issue I have been wondering about as well as an ex-TPF/current ZH member who was not aware of the operation. Is there actually any evidence of the ZH people involved actually talking to Athens about a potential merger which would indicate that this was ever anything more than a pipedream?

  13. Now he wanted to seperate from his former alliance TPF and made it very clear he wanted to be part of another sphere. Athens was choosen as the protector of ZH. I was the 3rd member to join Zero Hour and I stayed and served as the Minister of the Internal Affairs for a month until I left Zero Hour. At no point durring the expance of my time in Zero Hour was there talk even jokingly of an attack on Athens.

As member #6 of ZH, and an ex-tpf to boot, I am glad I was not the only one who didn't find out about this plot until yesterday when it was made public. Still, the logs show what the logs show so I don't doubt the validity of the plot existing.
