Actually, to be fair the transition hasn't been that bad. It's actually proved to be a great opportunity to get new people involved and to streamline departments that had gotten a little bogged down by overlapping jurisdiction. Further, I don't want to speak too soon but it seems that the new people in charge of the various ministries actually have been accomplishing more than their predecessors though they have just entered office. I think with new people being forced to step into positions that they had been content to allow others to hold, there's been a resurgence of energy and motivation to get things working better.
While perhaps thinks might have been done differently with the exodus, in the end things worked out pretty well. There were enough experienced people remaining that the transition wasn't completely terrible. As far as I can tell, we haven't run into a single substantial problem yet (knock on wood).
