I'm not getting how you can be allied to someone, still be all good buddies with them, and not come to their defense. When your friend is being ganged you defend them no matter what. That, or you aren't their friend.
Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I don't know what brought on this sudden spree of trolling from TORN, but I appreciate it. I really do.
And to think I once respected you. lol!
If you really wanted to stick to TORN you should say you respect them even more. That should be enough to piss anyone off in your case.
Anyway, good show, STA. Those are !@#$%^&* terms if I ever saw them.
-
Gramlins - For "allies", you guys troll NPO a lot.
Believe it or not, it is possible to be allied to someone without getting together for weekly thought synchronization.
Anyway, goodbye. Good luck in rl. etc.
-
Can we find out who has signed these terms to see who is actually being surrendered to?
-
(Also, nice rip from the Paradox Entertainment Logo nuublets)
did you Polar really too stupid to read?
-
So by this and your other posts, you're saying you guys are opportunists, not bandwagoners.
Good to know where you fit in.
I should certainly hope we are opportunists. We're now having a pretty easy time of exacting our revenge on NpO since we waited for the right opportunity.
Edit: Only idiots don't look for and take advantage of opportunities. Is this just one of those things that everyone does but no one admits to doing?
I hope that is not a label for me. I have made every attempt to remain respectful and civil through this intercourse, and I appreciate the efforts made by my adversaries, particularly Hellangel, to do the same. No, I was referring to some other people in here. Not you.
Evidently, you are unwilling to forgive us our transgression regardless of circumstance.Yep.
We are being destroyed for the sins of our fathers.Pretty much.
-
We have changed. Again, I defy you to provide a specific example of hard-headed or obstinate behavior from Polar leadership since Sponge was deposed. We have been nothing if not compliant and diplomatic.
I don't care about what has happened since sponge was deposed. As I said earlier, I care that NpO only ever changed anything to save itself and not out of any change of heart.
It was pretty funny, actually. You all went from being chest-thumping trolls to respectful Everyman folk overnight. Now that your demise is sealed I see that people are already going back to being trolls.
-
We took responsibility for our leadership. Who are you to say when it's too late?
NpO really should be familiar with this kind of argument by now. We are the guys with the greater firepower.
Edit: Hell beat me to it. >_>

If I didn't know any better, I would think you were insulting my Emperor.
You're damned lucky I don't know any better..... :jihad:
I'm probably luckiest because my position is less precarious than yours or your emperor's.
opportunity, opportunity, opportunity.
-
It cannot be said, Polaris made no mistakes. But what would you have of us? Over a month ago, we deposed our Emperor and Regent and instated an entirely new regime. What change could be more dramatic?
You've had well over a year to change your ways and only did it when it came down to saving your own $%&es. I have no doubt that as soon as NpO was back on top, everything would be the same as before you got knocked down politically. Except it would be even worse as Grub is just as much a troll as ES but is less fun about it.
Since Sponge was tossed out and Random stepped down, what has transpired to make this declaration more relevant now than it would have been two months ago?Opportunity mostly.
-
What is this, I don't even know.
I'd say it is a preemptive declaration of neutrality.
-
This is entirely inadequate. I would prefer GGA and Company declare on Hyperion with the following casus belli:
We declare war on Hyperion because we don't like them. In addition, said war will draw in GR, their protector. If we are lucky, all of BLEU will come with them. With the tangled treaty web, if all goes well, we'll have a world war on our hands. It'll be great, folks!
^That's a legitimate casus belli in my book. Let's be honest, folks.
Unless you're the MoFA in IRON, in which case you aren't considered "top gov". (Citation from Hyperion's rebuttal post. Of course this is just a joke from that log.)
This man knows what he's talking about.
-
I'm glad everyone is rebuking the cheap political stunt by not giving it any attention.
-
And also that those who have signed it, already had their policies in place, so what exactly has this accomplished?
People are always signing useless treaties without people calling it a "stunt." The only difference I see is that this one is a different kind of useless treaty. Admin forbid that anyone try doing something different!
-
There is in fighting side-by-side with the people who were, only a couple of days ago, your friends and allies.
Ya, considering the leaders scuttled the alliance and jumped ship before anything even went down and there will be only individual surrender terms, I'm thinking it's every man for himself.
Nice job trying to pretend like this is anything more than a glorified tech raid, though.
-
I don't know about you, but when I find a den of rogues that are planning on attacking my alliance, I set out to wipe them out. Whether they are members of a formal alliance or not, they're still my enemies.
That analogy fails in that it is unlikely that all of CIS was looking to stick it to NPO. There's no justified retribution when you're attacking some random ex-member for issues that he may not even be aware were going on.
-
lol
Killing ex-members who probably weren't involved in any of the offenses you outlined. NPO never fails to be the champion of justice.....and temporarily alleviating boredom.
-
I know everyone loves to talk about Orders affairs, but basically this is only a problem between NPO and NpO. Everyone should respect that.
Unless the Orders were planning on keeping all of their numerous allies out of any theoretical war between them, I don't see how this particular situation qualifies for being an internal issue.
-
Wow, Polaris has just been doing better and better in the last week or so.
Goodbye.
-
ZOMG CONSPIRACIEZ!!!!
One day the conspiracy theorists are marginalized as loons and now we have both Orders saying the other is conspiring to undermine them. How times change.
Edit for
-
I'm glad the Orders feel so strongly about unity.
-
A member of Genesis said it best: Also, to the crowd of speculators, what part of no conspiracy is hard to understand?
The part where you are making absolute statements about something not happening when there is circumstantial evidence that it might be happening.
So BLEU`s strength is only weakened on paper, and in the eyes of the blind.I guess you must mean that MCXA and Echelon never actually left. Either that or MCXA and Echelon didn't have strength to contribute anyway, because I was under the impression that when someone leaves something, they and their support are no longer there.
But, hey, I think the conspiracy theorists have it right. Let's not let silly facts get in the way of a good story. Acting as ridiculous as the conspiracy theorists in the opposite direction doesn't win any points.
-
Ya, I make it a habit of not believing absolute statements about what will or won't happen.
-
Interesting words.
o/ More Allies?
Anyway, good job, guys.

Those responses are usually used by people who have nothing better to say but just want to be included in the conversation, which brings me to my next point.
Note how there are forums here. It's so people can comment on threads started by other people. I usually comment in a manner that reflects my true opinion, rather than the mindless hailing or other bull****. I don't believe that is at all related to me trying to gain inches. TTK isn't relevant to my nefarious plot to take over the world.
