    5 years ago today, a group of expats from Ubercon and TDO formed an alliance called Pax Corvus.

     

    We may be a lot quieter than we used to be, but we're still here.

  11. Pax Corvus Turns Four

    Four years ago, today, a dream was born and Pax Corvus came into being. We had a dream - a place on the black team where we could grow in peace. And so a few weary refuges from Ubercon and TDO came together and founded an alliance based on Neutrality, Community, Equality and Integrity.

    One year ago today, the last remnants of Ubercon who had once been Amazon Nation and were then Apparatus joined us at Pax Corvus, bringing a little steampunk into our lives.

    This last year has been eventful. We have seen sanction and embraced it, holding it for many months until a kerfuffle with DBDC brought many of us to our first true conflict and brought our brothers and sisters once of Apparatus out of their caves. It made us stronger and more unified than we have ever been.

    Today we celebrate that we are four years old. We intend to be here four more and four more after that and four more after that …. until the world end.

    Come have coffee on us and celebrate the anniversary of our creation.

    And ....... When did Cerridwyn's cherry get popped? The leader of Pax ..

    Just a hint, since it's hidden under DBDC's attacks and well - you're you and need all the clues you can get, it was VERY recent ......


    Actually, I have had casualties since I was barely a week old. Raganarok inflicted them.

    So it was not recent. Probably since before many reading this were born.

    I got out of bed this morning and was going about my usual thing when I decide to look at my nation and my alliance. That's what a chief does, right? Makes sure things are going well before she even breaks her fast. What do I see but 41 wars. Now, Pax Corvus has always been a peaceful alliance. It is a part of what we stand for and even part of our name. 
     
    So my next step, is of course here. I am looking for a declaration of war/hostilities. Because, well, 41 wars is not a raid by anyone's definition. I'm looking to see what someone thinks we have done. Have we spied on someone? Stepped on someone's toes? Harbored a traitor to another alliance? And what do I see? Nothing.
     
    So my only conclusion is that these are acts of terrorism, with the only goal to bring terror to the people of Pax Corvus.
     
    So be it. Just because we believe that war is not the answer does not mean we will lay down and die.

    Do you want peace or war? That's the first question. If you want peace, aka neutrality, you have a few choices - Pax, GOP, GPA, WTF. If you want war, you have the choice of those who have rigorous requirements for you to grow your nation and your military, and you have those that are more relaxed. Then there are alliances that raid.

     

    The choices are many. (And *cough* 6/200 tech, rofl. 6/100 benefits the new player and the buyer and the alliance).

     

    Another way to learn about places is to go to the wiki and read wiki pages. Here is ours for you to start with - http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Pax_Corvus - but everyone saying "Join xxxx" has a page that can tell you more about their Alliance.
