probablamenteno is Minister Of Economics? He screwed me on a tech deal a while back. Good luck with that.
Hey Val - long time old friend.
I'm sure that the two of you must have had a misunderstanding on the issue. I say this as a friend to both of you. I can guarantee you Prob is a person of outstanding character and would never intentionally screw anybody over in terms of anything, yet alone a tech deal. I trust him greatly and I'd put my reputation on the line for him anytime. He'll be a fantastic MoE for us.
I know you to be a person of great character in your tech dealing as well (You were one of my stable tech-sellers back in the day after all ), so I'm sure it was nothing more than a miscommunication. If you still have an issue with whatever happened, you are welcome to come over to the GPA forums, and we'll try and discover what went wrong and mend any error if it exists. Hope all is well with you.
Congrats to our entire government! Looking forward to this term.

Originally joined the GPA on June 28, 2006. It has been and will be my only alliance. I did take a couple short breaks for RL purposes, but rejoined the GPA immediately upon rejoining the game.

Looking forward to this term!

If I remember rightly it was a clerical/administrative error that allowed Lord Swampy to become an affiliate member and we all know what happened there; best watch out for those clerical errors.......
Your first error is to use the term "affiliate member". GPA affiliates are not GPA members. They never have been. Affiliate status has always been and was always intended to be a probationary period for incoming applicants during which we could review their history and check backgrounds before accepting them as trainees. Affiliates may or may not be offered protection, depending on their situation. When we discovered Lord Swampy was on ZI lists, he was removed from affiliate status, serving perfectly the purpose of the affiliate status. He was never a member and there was no error involved in that scenario, at least not on our part.
I will not say we have not made errors, because we obviously did make some. The error you mentioned though, was, and is still, nonexistent.

Glad to see this up and through. Great work Thomas!
We look forward to maintaining our neutral and friendly status to all alliances, and I thank those that reaffirm their signatures and afford us the trust that we will do just that.

It's been an interesting ride so far. Can't wait for the next three years. Thanks to all members, current and former, who kept the Agency going for so long.

Welcome to the UJA Green Old Party! I know you guys are gonna be an amazing alliance one day.

Thank your for this show of mercy. We promise we will not repeat our mistakes of the past. This means a lot to us.

Not even that, but they violate the clause which requires them to have a declaration of neutrality. Every signatory has dropped, therefore the treaty no longer exists.
This is simply not true. There are still plenty of signatories on the Declaration of Neutrality, and our commitment to Neutrality extends outwardly even to those who have not signed it. It will cease to exist only when we cancel it on our end. I thank you for being concerned but assure you that you have no reason to be.

Congrats to our new gov! I'm looking forward to the next two months. Should be as good as the last two, and the two before that!

Happy holidays everyone!! I wish the very best to all of you!

For the sake of adding to this thread, I've re-uploaded the GPA masks I made that represented us when we were sanctioned:
The original GPA mask:
New GPA mask that replaced the original:
And for fun, the forum mask I made that was very popular but did not get chosen to represent us:
We had some really great competitions for the forum mask. It was a lot of fun. Wouldn't have done so well if not for learning from guys like D34th. I also have some other really good ones from the GPA competitions if anyone would like me to post them up.

An extremely strong government for The Agency. I look forward to the next two months with the lot of you leading the way!

Nobody wants to play DEFCON with you bros.

Congrats to TOOL on the continuous growth. I'd expect no less of an alliance of your stature. Cheers.

As one of the oldest current GPA members, I must say that these members that won this award have done work far exceeding that of anybody I've seen go through the halls of the GPA. These are some of the finest people the GPA has had, and some of the finest people in the entire cyberverse; of that I am sure. Great job everyone and congrats!

I posted. Good show to both MHA and Impala.

Sad to hear that Magoo deleted. He was a great guy and good member (Ex-GPA). Had one hell of a nation as well. Great economic mind.

Almost done with my edits. Just need to reanimate the two versions I made.

Ivan - I LOVE your latest concept with the idea of the background image changing with the words. Of course I'd suggest slowing down the transition just slightly as I have a hard time keeping up, but the concept is awesome. If you finished that one, it'd probably have my support as the best.

Yeah, I have yet to start my editing.
-
Sounds pretty stylish! I'll give that a go.
I'm not the best in terms of style. Never have been. Good concepts, bad style. Glad I have some stylish people like yourself here to set me straight!
EDIT: Also, I'm pretty interested in seeing your new concept in action. You've got a very different style than anyone I've seen around these parts. Damn nice stuff. Lookin forward to the next one!

Josh: Thanks for the support. Glad the concept went over well. Hopefully after I touch it up in a lot of ways it'll have the professionalism to back up the concept.
Ivan: Greatly appreciate the advice, and good advice at that.
I would agree with the arrows looking hand-drawn, because they were hand drawn. I was getting lazy at that point and went for the quickest solution just to get the product through. However, if I'm gonna go back and touch things up, I'll make sure to get some real arrows as you suggested.
I'll get rid of Austin. I do enjoy the light-heartedness, but I doubt it is even legal within copyright laws to have his character being used for marketing another product. Just figured I'd put that there as temporary for fun.
Also, I agree with the Destruction thing. When I first played it back to myself, I felt it was a bit over the top also. Again, laziness made me decide not to go back and edit at the time.
Do you think I should leave the word destruction off the slide altogether, or just tone it down to normal lettering, a smaller size, and off in the corner like the previous slides?

She married me and her nation subsequently merged into Fuland. She now lives in the capital of Fuland with me and my other wives. I apologize to all those of you out there whose hearts she broke with this choice. She couldn't resist the fro. I'd advise you all grow one if you hope to compete with me in the future.
(OOC: She's starting over with a new identity outside the GPA to try something new for a while - We'll miss her dearly... but we won't stop believing.)
