"Several other attacks have occured across the nation, rusulting in over athousand deaths. It is with a heavy heart that I announce our borders are officially closed for the time being. kitex
BREAKING NEWS: This just in, 3rd Batt., 5th Brigade, 10th Infantry Division will be going to Marscurian Pakistan to train there. There seems to be a grumbling among the people for they are worried that we won't be able to protect ourselves. We went out and interviewed people and here are some of the questions/concerns they had: "We're sending so many troops overseas to protect other nations that we won't have any to protect Troina!" "We need first to protect Troina, forget everyone else." SecDef Rusa MacNell responded that "Our first priority it protecting Troina and we have more than enough soldiers to do that, also when you factor in that fact that we are several thousand miles away from any other nations that means it is hard for others to attack us but it also means that it's hard for us to protect our allies and our interests, so these troop deployments are necessary." Here is the summary of a battle that occured yesterday: CRF pocket 15 miles south of the Imperial Union border The CRF forces in the 4 square mile pocket were now being squeezed mercilessly. The 1st Division had taken over the fight and was pushing slowly into the pocket. CRF resistance was heavy, with the M113A3 APCs and M2 Bradley IFVs being used constantly along with the M1A1 Abrams MBTs to push the CRF soldiers into a tighter pocket. The use of M224 60mm Mortars and M252 81mm Mortars in the assault on CRF positions made it easier for the Curristan soldier who had to take cover every time the CRF opened fire on them. kitex
International Tennesee Federation collapses. Today an Al Timmons proposed legislation in the Tennesee Congress, asking for the absolution of the Tennessee Federation. Here are Mr. Timmon's opening remarks. In the Ohio Legislature:Bill 00676 to hit the floor today. An Act to Absolve Ties to the Tennessee Federation This bill is sponsored by Al Timmons. Follows, a record of his opening statements defending his proposal: "Today my friends, I present a solution. A solution to end ties to a failing far-off bureaucracy that is of no benefit to us or to our people. Tennessee may have at one point in history have been a solution to our problems, but today, it is the root of problems. Military invasions took pieces of Tennessee away and many other attacks have been thrust upon the country with little or no retaliation. Defense should be a nation's priority. It is not Tennessee's. My friends, our integrity is not safe with Tennessee. It can no longer fulfill its commitments to us. It is time we take action. It is time we leave. We came into this union, we shall leave it. My friends, a new time is dawning. A time with stability. A time with peace. A time where our people are safe and contented. A time we must begin now." There were no objections to continue the bill to a vote... Vote: 234 Pro 0 Con Also today, in Dragonisia, the presidency was a tie. Here's more from DDN (DNN) Dragonisian City - After a week of discussion, it has been announced that there is a two way tie between Ivan Dragoska and Tomy Smith for the chairmanship of the Dragonisian State. The Council was unable to reach a consensus decision with each body locked in its demands for their particular leader. In response to this quagmire and to prevent further internal struggle, Ivan Dragoska and Tomy Smith are amidst negotiations to attempt the formation of a coalition government and a sharing of powers. Domestic Today, in Busan province, there was a massive collapse of the DDB bridge at 4 am this morning. Thankfully, no one was harmed. The causes are still unknown. Apparently, the middle of the bridge just collapsed. Construction workers plan to have the bridge fixed within two weeks.
