iKrolm
With a lack of communication and growing concern among Selenarctan investors, the Selenarctan government has stepped in to acquire a majority share of Singacorp shares and remove the Singacorp Board of Directors. A through review of Singacorp's financal records and holdings has determined, however unfortunate, that the corporation's chances of showing a profit again are very, very low. Therefore all assets of the now-defunct Singacorp (with the exception of Singapore) will be auctioned off to the highest bidder and the profits divided among Singacorp shareholders. During this period of transition and until a new government can be arranged, Singapore shall become a protectorate of Selenarctos. ***Classified*** 2,000 Ground Force infantry and 200 BXII AFVs are in transit to Singapore. Subtleknifewielder
"Would Selenarctos be willing to make this a joint protectorate with any other nations?"
iKrolm
Given the circumstances, we would rather have sole occupancy until the assets of Singacorp have been accounted for and sold or scrapped. After that, we would be willing to consider joint-occupancy.

Amyante
"Zargathia has funded the Reconstruction Partnership with Singacorp. In return for this investment, our nation's military vessels were to be granted unrestricted access to the Strait of Singapore as well as rights to moor and resupply in Singapore, indefinitely. While Selenarctos' government stepping in to protect the interests of its citizens is commendable, the Zargathian government would like to know if this right would remain intact." iKrolm
We will continue to recognize right-of-passage and right-of-moorage agreements granted by Singacorp so long as they do not conflict with Selenarctan foreign policy. Beyond that, the Port of Singapore shall be run as a port of Selenarctos with all of the same water policies and tariffs. With regards to other projects: because the majority of the money for the the Inter-Asian Rail link has already been spent and/or allocated it will be completed, however the Java-Singapore tunnel will not be built. Amyante
"Very well. We would like to participate in the auctioning of Singacorpian assets and shall await the Selenarctian decision on setting up a potential joint protectorate in the territory." Minilla Island
Another question: We are in the middle of major construction that would connect Sumatra to Asia Proper through Singapore. Basically the joint rail/auto tunnel. We made an agreement with the original Corporation. How will this be handled?
iKrolm
OOC: ^, and major construction? I didn't know you even broken ground. IC: Unfortunately we have deemed the tunnel too expensive to complete, however should you provide the necessary funds construction can still be resumed.
