Since when do I have a blog? That's cool. I vaguely remember the last post I read, but I seemed to be pretty accurate when I wrote it. +1 for me.
I've always thought CN was lacking creativity. It's not that we lack good artists, or creative writers, but there's only so many 'revealing' images of models one can look at in various people's avatars and signatures. Or maybe that's just me, and I have a good feeling it is.
That isn't to say there hasn't been a creative idea from time to time that has caught me attention. Of all the feature suggestions I've ever read, one comes to mind. Changing the default colour of Cyber Nations to match the team you place your nation on. White could be an outline, or a simplistic version of the standard layout. Now I know we have CNExtend to sort of allow us to do that, but that requires users switching to Firefox (Fx), and the idea that 20 000 people are going to be using Firefox together is a scary thought indeed. However maybe someone will come along with the brains for an Opera extension when the proper release of Opera 11 is released. Anyone but me, go ahead and give it a shot please.
One of the other ideas I've had in my mind for a while, was embassies, and the way the alliance LXXQTJMN implements them. It is what anyone with a brain would ask and beg for, and should of been the new standard a long time ago. Then again, Arloria seems to have that certain something, that makes everything he does revolutionary and different. I think he even made a fish that swam around your browser in CSS one day, to prove that he could.
Finally, and before I get to something constructive, I have to point out (that in case you haven't noticed already) I've always been one for create ideas. Which would be why The majority of you Planet Bob civilians found the last treaty TLK and I signed (The Bandit Accords 2.0) with Octava Orden completely confusing. It was a mixture of lyrics form My Chemical Romance's recent album Danger Days. A band that has saved my life on 2 occasions, and prevented me from doing things I would of regretted uncountable times.
So why am I writing this? to start, TLK has always been viewed as a creative outlet for me. The TLK/LXXQTJMN treaty was something that's never been done, our treaty with OO was certainly unique, and TLK's government layout is something I've never seen before. (We've combined foreign affairs and Education under one name.) I spent the last bit writing about alliances, and how to choose them in a guide only those inside a handful of alliances will ever read, because I felt it was necessary to include in a 'complete guide'. But that's a secret project. shush me.
I guess I was really just bored, and this seemed like an interesting thing to do.
