National Defence and Military Empowerment Act
Due to the obvious need of a national defence system, The Government of the Socialist People's Republic of Australia has created for the defence of the nation and its suburbs and outlying areas:
An Army, A Navy and lastly, An Airforce in order to provide for the defence of all the people of the Realm.

With the act enabled, All men of military able age(18-50) who are not exempt from service due to medical conditions have been conscripted and start training in the Land Defence Force of the Nation, bringing the active armed forces to a total of 594,048 men.

The State upon the creation of the Military of the Socialist People's Republic of Australia have decided to fully enumerate the powers of the Military so as to not cause undue power struggles between the government of the people and the military.

Namely That:

The Military is only activated by a Declaration of Emergency by the Field Marshall.
The Leadership of the Armed Forces are to be selected by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Australia

Space Program Test Act
The Government, upon the realization that communications infrastructure for both the military and public sectors has been strained and lagging of late hereby announce that satellites have been launched. The total coverage is 1 telecommunications satellite and 3 military used communications and targeting satellites. These Space Surveillance Satellites will enable ground-based detection of objects on the planet's surface for purposes such as detection of any hostile actions taken by a foreign power against Australia. The satellites have the technology for large curved focal surface array sensors to enable an innovative scoping design combining high detection sensitivity, short focal length, wide field of view, and rapid step-and-settle to provide orders of magnitude improvements in space surveillance.

Also started would be Project Hellenes
The goal of the High Energy Liquid Laser Area Defense System (Codename: Hellenes) program is to develop a Counter-RAM system under development that will use a powerful (150 kW) laser to shoot down missiles, rockets, and artillery shells. The initial system will be demonstrated from a static ground based installation, but in order to eventually be integrated on an aircraft platform.

Super Secret/Ultra Classified
The Ministry of Science and Technology launched its own defence initiative. The new initiative's goal could be boiled down into one statement; protect essential computer systems from all computer attacks. More specifically, the initiative's goals were:
* Develop a new operating system that will only be used in government and military institutions. The new operating system must have unique code and should not use current computing systems that are susceptible to malware, but should also be able to open and/or run file formats currently used in today's businesses and institutions.
* Develop a network that is disconnected from other networks, such as the Internet. This will prevent hackers from accessing our networks in the first place. Despite this, the network should continue to implement security protocols, such as hardware and software firewalls, and antimalware software that can work on the new OS.
* Develop a secure communication protocol with Government and military officials that are unable to access a networked computer
* Develop a digitalized verification system that can easily verify someone's identity while preventing unauthorized users from using them.
* Train all personnel on how to properly use a computer, as well as standard security protocols.
* Develop a cyberwarfare department that can respond to attacks against Australia's systems.
* Develop an Internet-filtering system that will filter out anti-governmentic and other dangerous sites, while being un-intrusive to the citizens of the Kingdom as much as possible.

Simultaneously, the military would begin to further construct anti-aircraft and anti-ship fortifications along the nation's coastline. Usually, they will be located at ten kilometre intervals; however more of them will be placed along major urban settlements that have maritime borders. The Mobile Surface to Air Missile Systems of the nation have been deployed in every major city of the Kingdom and camouflaged in order to escape detection by enemies. In addition to this, military outposts would be constructed at all of Australia's t atislands (little tiny rock outcroppings in the middle of nowhere) scattered throughout the ocean. Each outposts would be staffed by enough soldiers and would be equipped with helipads, ports, enough supplies and weapons (such as artillery) to defend their island in the event of an attack.

CLASSIFIED
The Ministry also began to look into making Australia's most important centres, such as Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Darwin, and Brisbane EMP-proof. After seeing the horrors caused by nuclear attack on the nations of the World, the Ministry realized that such an attack on the Australian State would be extremely fatal for the Government and the people. Hence, protecting necessary centres, such as government buildings, financial institutions, hospitals, schools, emergency shelters, and other facilities would be quite necessary to ensure that Australia continued to work even after a nuclear attack.
Additional Defencive Measures/STILL CLASSIFIED
Camouflaged and armed military outposts, as well as anti-tank and anti-infantry defence installations in generic locations to best protect against possible invasion by any enemy power. In addition to this, Czech hedgehogs, sandbags, barricades, turrets and anti-air defences will be installed in important Government locations, such as the Palace of the Field Marshall. The SPRA Forces' HQ, Ministries of the Government and other critical locations.


Project Riptide
Estimation time: 1.5 years
The objective of Project RIPTIDE is to prevent foreign troops from landing on Australia's shores, utilizing somewhat the way, not literally, that a riptide (a rip current) ‘repels’ swimmers by keeping them away from the shore. It is the construction of a (approximate) 600 mile-long seawall, varying in height, with its highest point being 450 feet (150 m). Each section of the seawall will be 20 feet thick, and will be made of rebar reinforced concrete that will be able to withstand all bombardment for the most part. To enable ships to pass through to the Kingdom, an opening 150 feet wide will be made every 30 miles, totaling about 20 openings total.
The seawall will be constructed to come within 1 m (3 feet) of the ocean’s surface, thus making it nearly impossible for any naval or commercial vessels to pass through, except the openings (which in addition to being 150 feet wide, will be 200 feet deep). These openings will be a factor in Project Ultra, to be explained below.

Project Ultra
Estimation time: 1.5 years
Project ULTRA is to provide for a backup for Project Riptide through the fact that it is to utilize SONAR emitters to give false impressions that areas inside ULTRA are populated with submarines (they [the emitters] will give off the signatures used by submarines), when in fact they may not. These SONAR emitters will be able to be turned on and off remotely, only being turned on during time of attack and when needed, not before, remaining hidden and passive for the most part. Torpedo launchers will be utilized as a major component of ULTRA to lure enemy ships in after the emitter shadows. This is to be the most classified part of the overall project, given that its construction will be covered by the construction of Project RIPTIDE.

Project Mushroom
Estimation time: 6 months

The first of the projects, MUSHROOM, involve the extensive usage of the krakatoa mines in Australia's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), which extends no further than 200 nautical miles off her coasts, given that it does not intrude upon another nation’s EEZ.

The Krakatoa mine is an advanced anti-vehicle/anti-personnel weapon that use C4 and an inverted copper cone to create a huge melted copper bullet. It has the capacity to penetrate more than 1 inch of thick steel armor at a distance of 25 yards, and will be capable of penetrating up to six inches of steel armor when very close to a ship’s hull. The bomblet will be around the same size as that of a 12 oz Coke can. The bomblet will magnetize to the hull of a ship and attach itself and if the transmitters located inside the bomblet detect any issues concerning the enemy ship, the mine will explode sinking the ship. To prevent accidents with sinking of UKIM maritime shipping the mines will use their transmitters to detect coding on the ships which will instruct them not to attach on to the ships. This particular project will be divided into two phases: Phase One will concern the construction of tens of thousands of bomblets, while Phase Two will focus on the fitting of them in the EEZ.

Project Fortress
Estimation time: 1.2 years
Massive fortresses (hence the project’s codename) will be built alongside the coast of Australia They will be 100 m long, 100 m wide, and 60 m tall, and they shall be built every 100 miles, making for a total of 160 fortresses. The walls of the Fortresses will be constructed of 6m (20 feet) of rebar reinforced concrete, with the roofs being twice that, and will be built to withstand even the most advanced bunker-buster bombs. In addition, the communication between these fortresses shall be handled by deep underground telephone cables.

Each fortress will have four 5-inch guns, each at a ninety degree arc, that will face the area, be it the sea or over land. On the roof of each Fortress, anti-aircraft guns will be built, including four 120-mm automatic, RADAR guided anti-aircraft guns, four 75-mm automatic, RADAR guided anti-aircraft guns, four 90mm auto flak, automatic, RADAR guided anti-aircraft guns, and two THAAD missile launchers.

The shores (beaches) of Australia are to be covered in krakatoa mines, which will have pressure sensors on them that gets them off when enough pressure is applied on them (as when the general weight changes). In addition to that, they can also be activated manually through radio transmitters as to ensure public safety (as in people using the beach). This serves as a dual purpose to thwart demining procedures (removing mines), for the mines can be detonated remotely long before the enemy forces even have the chance to even get close to the mines.

In peacetime, the Fortresses will serve as a holding place for pillboxes and Czech hedgehogs, to be ready to be deployed at a moment’s notice. Each pillbox will house approximately 1 to 10 (ten) troops/personnel, and are to be made of 2-meter thick reinforced concrete and provide excellent [temporary] cover against any invading force.

Project Phoenix
Estimation time: 1 year

Project PHOENIX will incorporate not only the anti-missile defenses outlined in earlier projects, but it will also utilize anti-aircraft guns of varying sizes, caliber, power, and range. It will employ overlapping RADAR installations throughout the country as to monitor air traffic as well as aerial defense.

The first level of defense in PHOENIX is the usage of 75mm guns to provide low-level air support. These guns will be linked to RADAR systems throughout the country, and be automated. The highest concentrations of these weapons will be around cities, towns, and military bases, installations, and depots - although some will be interspersed throughout the nation to provide for maximum advantage. Their effective range is 13.5 km and maximum range is 18 km.

The second level of defense will consist of 90mm auto flak guns with the same characteristics as 75mm guns. Their ceiling is 34,000 feet.

The third level of defense will consist the usage of 120mm guns with the same characteristics as that of 75mm and 90mm guns. Their maximum ceiling is 57,000 feet.

The fourth level of defense involves the usage of SM-3, RIM-116, THAAD, Starstreak, and MIM-104F missile launchers. They will be arrayed around the major cities and towns, and military bases, installations, and depots - the same as the AA guns aforementioned above. Not only that, but hundreds of Centurion C-RAM, a land-based version of the naval Phalanx CIWS, will be installed alongside the coast, all over the Kingdom’s borders.

The fifth level of PHOENIX is the RADAR installations. Each RADAR installation will consist of two relays. The first will operate on a normal frequency while the second will operate under 2 GHz to detect stealth aircraft. By having two systems, the 2 GHz system can find the stealth aircraft, allowing the second system to lock on to their location and follow them, providing solutions for fighters and anti-air weapons. These will be placed throughout the country as well, providing multiple overlapping coverage.

Project Delphi
Estimation time: 1.5 years
Project DELPHI is a fortification project designed to revitalize the border fortifications on the nation's northern, western, and eastern borders. Similar to FORTRESS, Delphi will utilize krakatoa mines for anti-personnel and anti-vehicle purposes. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of these mines will be placed alongside the border as well as major roadways, highways, and streets throughout the country, especially these leading into and outside the major cities and towns, and bases, installations, and depots.

An elaborate system of trenches, tunnels, and minefields (of which hundreds of thousands of krakatoa mines will be installed, all of which can be activated by remote means), as well as electrified fences and barbed wires will be built alongside the entirety of the nation's border. The bases, pillboxes, and bunkers will be elaborately camouflaged as to provide advantage to the defending force in times of war and/or invasion.

20mm artillery batteries will be placed at specific intervals alongside the border, and on roads and streets throughout the nation. In the border fortifications, casemates will be utilized, where they will be established at intervals along the border. These cannons will be automated, meaning they will activate upon detection of infrared signature of humans (for instance, troops). They are not to be activated in peacetime. As with the bases, pillboxes, and bunkers, the batteries will be camouflaged.

Next, booby traps (such as tank ditches, anti-personnel pits, fragmentation mines) and sniper bases will be constructed along the border. Artillery emplacements (20mm) will be built among the major roads, highways, and roadways throughout the country. DELPHI is to utilize the nation's geography (such as hills, mountains, and valleys) to maximum effect to create a strong defense that will make it very difficult for enemy forces to penetrate through to the interior; barring that, it will also inflict heavy casualties against the invading force.

Military Re-Equipment-Classified-
The Australian Land Armies have been issued new weapons that have been under development by the arms factories of the People's Republic.
The Standard infantry side arm will be the FN Five-Seven. The new standard squad automatic rifle will be the IMI Tavor TAR-21. For Special Forces use are the IMI Micro Tavor MTAR-21 and also the M110 SASS(Semi Automatic Sniper System) The Heckler & Koch HK XM25 IAWS 25mm Smart Grenade Launcher will be the special weapon of the military used as a grenade launcher and primary anti-material weapon for the Australian Nation. The M252, 81mm Mortar Medium Weight Extended Range Mortar and M119 A1 Howitzer will be used as artillery weapons to rain fire down upon the enemy if an enemy ever invades. the M252's and M119's will have full crews stationed full time at all locations which are to be deemed militarily important to the Armed Forces Command in order to provide a deterrent against enemies.

New Australian Army Structure
Each corps labeled 1st to 6th of 142,104 men is divided into 4 Divisions designated 1st to 4th which are broken into 3 Brigades is made up of 11,842 men and divided into 4 Battalions of 2961 men. Each Battalion is divided into 12 Platoons of 247 men and each Platoon is divided into 6 squads of 41 men containing 8 fireteams of 5 men.


Australian Engineers Corps (AEC)
The Australian Engineers are the first in and last out in any war zone. From setting up Operating Bases to clearing mines the Engineers perform a wide range of roles including bridges and demolition.

Australian Marine Corps (AMC) The Australian Marine Corps is the amphibious assault infantry. Operating from Ships of the Australian People's Navy, these men can attack from the sea and are capable of fighting on any terrain.

Australian Infantry Corps (AIC)
The Australian Infantry Corps are soldiers who are specifically trained for the role of fighting on foot to engage the enemy face to face, to kill or capture him, to seize and hold ground and to repel attack, by day or night, regardless of season, weather or terrain

Australian Armoured Corps (AAC)
These troops operate the Armoured attack of Australia's field armies.

Australian Artillery Corps (AArC)
The Australian Artillery Corps operate the Australian Army's artillery, and co-ordinate with the Australian Navy and Air Force for air strikes.

Australian Airborne Corps (AAbC)
The Australian Airborne Corps Paratroopers are soldiers trained in parachuting and generally operate as part of an airborne force. Paratroopers are used for tactical advantage as they can be inserted into the battlefield from the air, thereby allowing them to be positioned in areas not accessible by land.

IC: A population census has been conducted by the Office of Population Affairs- It has been discovered and recorded for posterity that 90 million citizens live in Australia--

Private: Today, In Australia Military and Civilian workers under the guise of repairing electrical systems shall start repairing the old Phased Array Warning System (PAWS) which existed in Australia during the time of the Union of the Southern Cross, The programme codenamed Project WILLIAM shalll be completed with the greatest urgency. Sites of these stations will include various locations throughout the Australian Continent, as well as stations in the Marquesas Islands and the other islands of Australian Polynesia. They will increase the potential to track incoming ballistic missiles, as well as aircraft and smaller cruise missiles.

This is in addition to the deep-sea tripwire system, which was reactivated during routine patrols of the Australian People's Navy. The system according to documents later discovered in archives used a string of acoustic sensors that were anchored along underwater geographical routes that submarines would use to approach the continent and outlying possessions from. On top of the refurbishment of the deep-sea tripwire system, we are also planning the surface wave radar network to be established for both civilian and military use. This will ensure that maritime vessels or low-flying non-stealth aircraft can be tracked up to five hundred nautical miles from our shores, and from active signatures, these vessels or aircraft will be identified.

These measures will both assist civilian enforcement of maritime constabulary roles, as well as add to the defensive radar network already in place. Both mobile units and static posts will be used for these surface wave radars."

The writing was in the Field Marshall's hand and it also warned to "Read then destroy" Opening it, he would discover new plans and orders for the nation to be implemented. After issuing orders to the proper officials, Secretary Karlov shredded the documents using a diamond shredder then burned the shreddings to ash which he then smoked with tobacco in his pipe.

The following is a breakdown of the new air defense system for the entirety of the Australian nation and its outlying possessions. Following that is a breakdown of other defensive measures which will also be put in place."

Early Warning Systems

The Australian Early Warning system consists of hundreds of both fixed-position and mobile unit radar units. These units feature both standard high-frequency radar that detects symmetric (non-stealth) and identifies these threats, on top of this, there are a number of systems using low-frequency radar to aid in the detection of asymmetric (stealth) aircraft. While this low-frequency radar does not allow for a lock on these aircraft so that they may be engaged by air defense systems, it allows for the Southern Cross air defense network with an early warning to respond with interceptor aircraft.

Included in these radar packages are the use of mobile and fixed AESA systems, whose radar waves are spread out over numerous frequencies, allowing for active signals to be used, while remaining an elusive target for anti-radar weaponry.

These systems are also supplemented by the use of large thermographic cameras, that work in tandem with low-frequency radars, these cameras, with a high resolution as well as quantum-well infrared photodetectors or "QWIPs", also help with the identification of jamming equipment. The use of these cameras, which are both mounted on mobile platforms and at fixed positions, will aid in the defense of jamming equipment, and can assist in targeting of jamming modules. The use of these cameras can effectively eliminate the radar cross-section advantages that stealth hold over most anti-air defense systems, but cannot efficiently provide targeting for anti-air defense systems, but are helpful with detection and tracking for airborne interception methods.

Capping off these systems are the newest additions to the Australian satellite fleet, which are low-Earth orbit satellites with high-power optical cameras. These give the ability to give 'look-down' coverage to air defense systems, and aid in tracking targets at long ranges from Southern Cross shores. These systems are supplemented by the newest long range Phased Array Warning Systems (PAWS), which are currently being built along the coasts of the Southern Cross. These systems will aid in the defense against both aircraft and missile threats, and will be directly integrated with all other systems, including the Ballistic and Cruise Missile Defense systems.

All of these systems, like all other military and defense systems, are hardwired to one another, and are internal Southern Cross government servers, which prevents external hacking from foreign shores. This disallows external threats from crashing the air defense system entirely. While the Southern Cross Air Defense Force does maintain a central command hub in each of the provinces of the Southern Cross, if these commands are wiped out, the decentralization of the system allows for sector units to operate on their own. Hard wiring to other sites allows for sites to maintain cohesion if air defense commands are hit in force. Most air defense units are equipped with their own radar systems, and while not as significantly advanced as the primary systems, can keep the air defense systems in action. All of these systems have their own power generation units, and can run both from civilian power grid, but can revert to their own power supplies should the grids be eliminated. The systems are also reinforced against EMP strikes, and a number of mobile units are equipped with spare parts for major operating components if shielding does fail.

Air Defense Missiles/Artillery

Air defense missiles and artillery, like early warning systems, are split into two categories; mobile and fixed units. The new Southern Cross air defense systems features a well proportioned representation of both systems. Clusters of anti-aircraft weaponry are stationed primarily near large towns and cities (especially fixed positional weaponry), as well as around critical military and industrial complexes outside of cities. While there are fixed anti-aircraft missiles in remote locations along intended paths of attack on the continent, most of the open areas of the Socialist People's Republic are covered by mobile anti-aircraft regiments and independent companies.

Mobile SAM and AAA units are crucial for the survivability of the nation, as they are not as easily tracked and located as fixed positions. With our mobile anti-aircraft missile and artillery units, there is an emphasis on shoot and scoot maneuvers, where units will engage, and then try to move positions to avoid detection. We have arranged for areas in cities where these vehicles can park out of the public eye, and are shielded by camouflage from the sky, but this camouflage is easily removable. These units can move and operate independently, using the decentralized network so that they can operate at the vehicle level independently, and they are usually spread evenly throughout an area, instead of clumped together. These units also include CIWS vehicles that can be used to destroy incoming missiles from striking vehicles and helping the AA regiment fight back against standoff missile weaponry.

Fixed position defenses consist of not only artillery and missile systems, but also CIWS systems. These systems are highly automated and are usually concealable, instead of visible defenses, this is for both survivability purposes, as well as for the good of citizenry. Typically, these weapons are posted on the outskirts of cities and bases, in a ring around the area. Using inconspicuous designs, like the tops of these systems looking like water mains, to mask their actual intent, they will deploy their weaponry for combat purposes, then will pop to subsurface levels after deploying their weaponry. These sites are protected by fencing, motion sensing technology, as well as closed-circuit televisions.

Fixed missile positions feature a cold launch system, that fires the rocket from the tube, and then the rocket's motor fires. Missile launchers feature a unique reloading system, that is much like an ammunition belt on a machinegun. The missile is loaded into the tube, then fired, the launching tube is connected to three 'ammunition hoppers', a cache of three different types of missiles, for short, medium, and long range targets. Once a target is selected, the correct missile will then load into the tube, and then will be fired at the target. A fourth 'ammunition hopper' is reserved with anti-ballistic missile weaponry, which these fixed positions are also allowed to engage.

Also making up the fixed position systems are "LandRAM" anti-missile systems, which work much like the SeaRAM CIWS gun/missile packages found on many ships. These feature both Block III Rolling Airframe Missiles as well as automatic cannons for engaging inbound missile threats. These systems are effective at engaging in all directions, and are generally given wide fields of fire for their guns. These systems are particularly effective at engaging cruise missile threats that enter their zones of operation.

Finally, anti-aircraft artillery, in the form of the Denel 40mm L/70 automatic cannon are found in a number of turrets throughout many towns and cities. These guns feature doubled barrels, which are radar directed by both central air defense commands, as well as nearby AESA units. These guns have automatic 'belt' feeds, which load from a substantial magazine, ensuring the guns stay in action for up to five hours of sustained fire. They are quickly reloaded by vehicles that carry specially made 'magazines' that remove the old magazine, and replace it with the new one, much like the missile magazines of the fixed SAM sites. The guns deploy up from the ground, and can be allowed to automatically disengage if an inbound missile or bomb is about to strike. To keep the gun running for long periods of engagement, the guns can deploy back into the ground, which feature cooling units that can cool the barrels within five minutes, so the gun can be quickly back in action and this avoids overheating.

These fixed sites feature reinforced concrete protection, and all weapon systems are stored at a depth of fifteen feet, to ensure some survivability from near strikes. Hits that damage the opening mechanisms to these systems, once detected, automatically set off a small C-4 charge that can blow the damaged mechanism away. This will reduce the survivability of the weapon in future hits, but it allows for it to stay in action regardless. The magazines for these weapons are protected by reinforced concrete doors, that cover the magazine itself. When changing the magazine, the crew changing it has to use a built in elevator to lift the old magazine out of its pit. Once this is done, the crew will move the new magazine onto the elevator, which will then be deployed back down into place and primed for use.

Initial Strike Survivability Project (ISSP)

Under the auspices of the Initial Strike Survivability Project, we have seen in many recent wars that endurance of forces is a key and fundamental part of continued resistance and campaigns. To ensure that our forces receive benefits from this learned knowledge, the ISSP is a nationwide initiative to preserve combat capabilities. This includes the strategic reserve and maintenance of armored vehicles, weapons, aircraft, and soon, naval vessels. Analysis on first strike techniques the world over, have shown the vulnerability of bases, and men in the field, to initial strikes from aircraft and missile weaponry. To ensure that this is made difficult to any foe that may threaten our shores or bases abroad, we have constructed large underground networks of vehicle garages, and arsenals.

These bases are spread throughout the country, some are integrated into existing military bases, others are in more austere locations. These underground facilities feature force-flow air ducts that filter out the threats of NRBC contaminants, as well as their own existing water and power supply, which is connected to the civilian power grid. They vary in size, with some able to handle the storage and maintenance of up to a full battalion of main battle tanks and their attendant vehicles. The facilities also feature on-site barracks that are ready for use, and are staffed by personnel who are charged with the upkeep and maintenance of vehicles. All have multiple vehicle and personnel exits for quick evacuation, and only a select few know all of the exit. The underground facilities range in depth, some being as many as ten stories underground, a standard of twenty foot thick reinforced concrete ceilings are used for blast protection. The facilities also feature winding passageways, which help to disperse blast force should a weapon penetrate the ceiling.

Also included in the ISSP project are the upgrades to almost all air and naval aviation land facilities, featuring aircraft shelters above ground, and reinforced earthen-concrete covered revetments. Runways have also been upgraded, and while are not completely able to withstand sustained bombardment, can take a fair share of regular munitions before being cratered to a heavy extent. Also included in the upgrades to airfields are the underground hanger shelters, which feature large underground hangers, where planes and personnel can be stored beneath existing hangers, with protection from NRBC threats, with the shelters able to withstand all but the most heaviest of massive ordinance penetration and nuclear warheads. These facilities feature underground passages for both planes and personnel, which can move freely from one aircraft 'hold' to another. They also feature camouflaged exits for both planes and personnel, so that even if all hangers above are damaged, there are classified elevators that can bring them up.

The ISSP also called for the upgrade and maintenance of almost all bush strips in frontier villages and towns in the Outback. Seventy percent of this work has been completed under the guise of the civilian airport infrastructure improvement bill. This included installation of reinforced runways at all airstrips in the Outback that serviced villages, as well as their extension of runways to accommodate larger aircraft. This also included the expansion of aviation fuel holding tanks, mostly placed underground, to fuel aircraft if needed. The expansion of these Outback strips will help disperse aircraft throughout the interior of the country if the nation comes under sustained assault from multiple shores.

Corporation Taken Over
In a shocking move by the Socialist People's Republic of Australia, Field Marshall John C. Flemming has ordered the purchase of the Procinctian Corporation, Aleutian Telegraph and Telephone. The corporation will handle all the telecommunications for the Australian nation. Flemming issued orders to the telegraph laying ships to begin their work in laying line from Corporate Headquarters to Australia.

Progress on this mission is expected to take many years
