Diplomatic Note from Nordisk Rike

 

The Nordisk Rike cordially invites the Empire of Great Britain to send a diplomatic team to our nation so we may bury the hatchet and amend previously soured relations with your nation. We feel that we can over come our differences and past grievances if we come to these meetings with an open mind. We look forward to hearing from your nation, and hope that you send a diplomat so that we may both move forward as great nations.

Frederick, Lord North, the Earl of Guilford, has been dispatched and will arrive within the hour. His Majesty's Government expresses regret at the delay, which was unavoidable.

Upon arriving at the airport, the place would be docked at a secure platform that had fresh air breathers installed on it so it could connect with the plane and offer a place in which the people that would be departing would be able to be given the proper equipment to move around out in the open of Stockholm, since it was still suffering from the nuclear attacks made against it years ago. Inside the platform waiting for the Empire of Great Britain's representative was Jarl Lykke Nova. She would be standing there with her gas mask hanging off her belt with her arms behind her back, her two usual Nordisk Guards standing behind her as she stood there with a smile waiting patiently for the plane to finish its docking procedures.

Lord North disembarked the plane and warmly greeted the representative. His immaculately slicked hair and pencil moustache added to his suave demeanor and were throwbacks to an age long gone. He was still taken aback by the extent of damage brought by the aftermath.

Jarl Lykke Nova would extend her hand to the English Diplomat. "Hello, it is a pleasure to meet you, I am the Jarl of Diplomacy, Lykke Nova. I am sorry that we have to meet in this building, but as you can see from the outside, we are still dealing with the rebuilding from the nuclear attack made against Stockholm. This provides us the ability to talk without the use of gas masks, and without having to make the lengthy trip to our capital building. We were a bit surprised to hear that you would send someone, especially after the history of our nations waging war together in the past, so I am delighted that we are taking this opportunity to get to know each other, and I hope that we can conduct some positive business, and break the wall between our two nations once and for all."
