Treaty on the Creation of the Union of Revolutionary Socialist Republics

After drafting the initial treaty, with some feedback and modifications, what was known as the [b]Treaty on the Creation of the Union of Revolutionary Socialist Republics[/b] was duly ratified by a binding vote, and signed by all involved. Shortly after, it was announced to the world. A draft of the Treaty would be shown as well:

The Delegations, and thus the People, of the Nova Coimbran Socialist Republic, the Columbinan Socialist Republic, Saskatchewan Socialist Republic, Alta Vancavitean Socialist Republic, and the Nova Alascan Socialist Republic, hereby agree, with the full sanction of the Central Committee, the Revolutionary Workers' Party, and the overall Government of the Revolutionary Federation of Socialist Republics, to enter into a full and equal union, to be known as the Union of Revolutionary Socialist Republics (U.R.S.R.).

Through this Treaty, hereby known as the Treaty on the Creation of the U.R.S.R., the U.R.S.R. shall formally take the place of the R.F.S.R. in international affairs, including but not limited to entering into agreements, signing treaties, and declaring war, along with other functions associated with foreign affairs.

In domestic affairs, the U.R.S.R. shall take the place of the R.F.S.R. when it comes to administering the country, including but not limited to advocating, defending, and safeguarding the rights, liberties, and interests of the People. All laws, decrees, and resolutions passed under the R.F.S.R. shall remain in full force, and be enforced as such, in the U.R.S.R. unless modified or otherwise annulled by the Union Government.

The Government of the U.R.S.R., in the form of the All-Union People's Assembly, shall have the full and complete sovereingty over the constiuent Socialist Republics in both domestic and international affairs.

Under the terms of this Treaty and Declaration, the Government of the U.R.S.R. shall have the full right to establish new Socialist Republics either from parts of existing Republics or from others, providing that it is in accordance to the wishes of the People. This shall be done through Amendments, to be ratified by both the Council of the Union and the Central Committee.

If two-thirds of the People in territories controlled by the U.R.S.R. desire to join the Union, they shall have the power to petition the local Commune regarding admission. The petition, which must have a minimum of 20,000 signatures, shall be sent to the All-Union People's Assembly for consideration. If two-thirds of the Congress in concurrence with the Council vote in support, the petition shall come into effect with the signature of the Premier, and the territory in question shall hence be admitted into the U.R.S.R.

It is thus ordered.

Deep in his underground cave of treasure in Northwestern Germany, Stefan Maarten noted that this new state had stolen the name of his style of government, Revolutionary Socialism.
