Classified message sent from Great Lakes State Department of Defense to New England:

We are working on new types of anti-aircraft missiles and had already developed four. Our previous joint development was abandoned when we were unable to develop a formula to create chemicals that can blind pilots efficiently. We are wondering if we can restart the joint AA fireworks missiles development since we still lack jet fighters.

Classified reply:

You might lose an aircraft, or two during the testing since one of the types of experimental missiles contain chemicals that will clog up jet engines if inhaled. We suggest you to stick with easily replaceable and safety friendly jet planes. Our specialists and engineers will arrive within a week. Where do you want them to head to be picked up and transported to the testing site?

We will provide a couple of our outdated F-22 aircrafts with all the safety functions for such purposes. Besides, we would like your specialists and engineers to head to the City of Utica, and we will provide transportation for them to head to the AETC.

They will arrive at that city from Detroit's Metro International Airport in P189 passenger jet plane when they are ready. We will also be transporting the experimental missiles and equipments via trucks for safety and security, but we do not know where is AETC.

OOC: It does and its named the Utica International Airport. What major city doesnt have an airport? :P

IC:

CLASSIFIED RESPONSE

The AETC is located about ten miles south of Utica, in central New York State. When your specialists and engineers arrive in the city and are transported to the AETC, they may notice that the AETC is a highly-classified and heavily-defended place. There will be a heavy military presence for safety reasons. But do not worry, your specialists and engineers has been granted clearance to gain access into the AETC.

Classified note sent to New England from GLS Department of Defense:

We forgot to mention that we are also planning on testing an AA missile with a much different computer in it compared to all others "fire-and-forget" missiles. These experimental ones don't chase their targets in a fairly straight line and stalk them from the rear. Instead, the experimental missiles are programmed to fly erratically such as making useless turns, flying in a circle around the target, fly away right before slamming into the target, faking engine failures, randomly fly over, around, or under the targets, and etc. They are designed to scare the crap out of enemy pilots and distract them from other AA missiles or enemy aircraft. After a few minutes of screwing around, then the experimental missiles would finally decide to finish their targets off for good.

They are extremely useful in aircraft dog-fights, clumped groups of enemy aircraft (spreads panic since none of the pilots know who the missile is going to target until it is too late), and enemy pilots that are too good at dodging AA missiles. Of course, the experimental missiles fly faster than our standard "fire and forget" missiles in order to fly around enemy aircraft.

-----------

OOC: Waiting for a reply JED.

Also, the experimental missiles I described are possible as long as you have a different software coding in the missiles' computers and the missiles can fly much faster than their targets.

They will be allowed to pass, for they also have clearance.

Hm, this is certainly an interesting concept that we surely would like to see in action. We look forward to working with you on these. We are sure they will prove to be useful in combat, once perfected.

The next week:

An passenger aircraft loaded with 20 engineers, programmers, and technicians landed in one of Utica International Airport's landing paths. They then waited to be transported to AETC.

Message to New England from GLS Department of Defense:

The research group is at Utica International Airport waiting to be transported to AETC. The trucks transporting the experimental missiles, supplies, and equipments should arrive soon.

---------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, at GLS-New England border:

Four trucks were stopped at the border checkpoint station separating GLS and New England highway sections for a quick inspection. The border checkpoint security personal opened up the trucks' cargo door, entered the cargo hold, and removed the massive sheets covering something.

They found missiles and various equipments underneath the sheets and were surprised. Not notified by the GLS Department of Homeland Security about the four trucks' purpose, they immediately assumed the truck drivers were some stupid terrorists and arrested them.

Conversation between the border security inspectors and one of the truck drivers during the arrest:

"Sir, why is your truck loaded with missiles and various suspicious equipments?"

"I was paid to transport these to AETC, a military base in New England."

"Yeah right, you don't even have clearance from the Department of Homeland Security or from New England to transport military weapons across the border."

"What?! I thought I did have clearance."

"Why not try telling that to the NPF (National Police Force) instead of wasting my time?"

The truck driver was handcuffed and escorted to a police car to be transported to the nearest NPF station.

An passenger aircraft loaded with 20 engineers, programmers, and technicians landed in one of Utica International Airport's landing paths. They then waited to be transported to AETC.

The engineers, programmers, and technicians would find that a New Englander military and government delegation waiting for them. After exchanging pleasantaries, the New Englander officials escorted the GLS engineers, programmers, and technicians to several waiting SUVs. Shortly, the SUVs sped off in the direction of the AETC.

RESPONSE TO GLS

Very well, thank you for letting us know. We will inform our border troops about this.

The truck driver was handcuffed and escorted to a police car to be transported to the nearest NPF station.

Several border troops and officials, upon being notified by their superiors and noticing one of the trucks being stopped and its driver handcuffed, walked-ran forward. "Hey! Hey! This man has clearance to enter New England on military business. Orders from the Department of Defense." A senior official by the name of James Ranger said as he walked toward the border checkpoint, escorted by several border troopers.

When Ranger reached the GLS border officials, he waved a piece of paper. "As I said, these are the orders from the Department of Defense. This man, as well as the others, has official clearance to enter the country. You dont like it? Take it up with the federal government." He said as he gave the paper to the leading GLS border official. "Let him go." Ranger barked gruffly.

The GLS border officials needs to know that New Englander and Disparuean troops were still occupying the country, and that they were the true, through unofficial, power in the country...

OOC: This okay? If not, I can modify this post... :P

IC:

"Well, we still have to check with our department of defense to see if the clearances are legit since they never told us anything about the trucks." one of the GLS border officials said while another official ran off to the border station to inform the GLS Department of Defense.

A minute later, the official's radio crackled, "Yeah, those clearances are legit, turns out somebody in that department screwed up and sent it to a harbor instead."

The drivers were then unhandcuffed and were allowed to continue driving to AETC.

He chuckled as he got out a cigarette and lit it. Taking a deep breath, he let out a huff of smoke, sighing with satisfaction. "Have a good day, sir." Ranger grinned as he walked away, escorted by border troopers.

"Typical GLS..." He mumbled under his breath as he placed the cigarette on his lips...

"A might-be terrorist trying to transport a truck loaded with missiles and military equipments without any notifications from the government? I'd hardly call that normal." one of them replied before walking away to continue the vehicle inspections.

About an hour later, the four trucks then showed up in front of AETC's entrance, waiting for inspection and access to enter the base.

A couple of Army soldiers guarding the entrance of the AETC saw the trucks approach. Holding out a hand to signal the trucks to stop, one of the soldiers approached the first truck. Upon reaching the driver's side, the soldier looked at the driver. "Sir, we may have been notified prior that you and your friends had clearance, but still, I'd like to see the proper papers." The soldier said matter-of-factly.

The soldiers approached the other three trucks and basically told them the same thing, and began to inspect them.

The soldiers received the clearance papers from the truck drivers. However, the first soldier noticed something...

"...TERRORISTS! SHOOT THEM!" The first soldier roared as he whipped out his submachine gun and unleashed merciless barrage of fire into the truck. The other soldiers got out their machine guns and began shooting the trucks from every imaginable angle, yelling and screaming obscenities. Soon, the trucks were thorought riddled with bullets...

The first soldier blinked. He was still standing next to the truck, holding the paper. Did he just imagine it...? Nah, not that. "It looks good, sir. You may continue on. Have a good day." The first soldier smiled as he handed back the clearance paper back to the truck driver, stepped back and saluted. The other soldiers did the same, having finished the inspections.

OOC: Lol, at first I thought you really did RP the shooting. When are you going to RP the SUVs arriving at the base?

IC:

"Where do you want us to park for the unloading?" one of the truck drivers asked.

"There is a parking lot inside the AETC compound that you can park the trucks on." One of the soldiers explained, pointing the way.

---

On the other side of the AETC, the SUVs arrived at the compound, and after passing through several security checkpoints, continued on deeper in the base. Both the SUVs and trucks were to head to the main building inside the AETC, the AETC Main Base Compound. It was a large and open place where the experiment was to take place.

The director's cell phone rang and he answered it while walking away.

"Frank Swater has ordered the joint project to be, delayed, until New England and Disparu have fully removed their military force from Great Lakes State. Return back home immediately, including all missiles and equipments." a Department of Defense officer ordered.

The director then turned around and told the soldier, "Our government ordered us to head back home and delay the project until all of Disparu's and New England's military have withdraw from Great Lakes State."

OOC: I felt like continuing the project on my own when I get my own airplanes in a few days. :awesome:
