How may I be of assistance?" Rama Varma asked on meeting the King of Caucasia. "It is good to meet you, King Varma," James said respectably. "Hrm," Donegan grunted, looking tired. "Now, Cochin and Caucasia have been neighbors for...about a year, I believe, since we bought the land from Grøenlandia. However, back then, there was no need for us to interact much, due to the Eurasian Pact. Then the Dragon Empire canceled the Pact, and Caucasian-Dragon relations quickly deteriorated, what with the merchant ship and giving military access to the AEF. "However, as Cochin has regained its independence, it is time we start afresh. Set aside the hostility between our peoples, and start working anew." I doubt the people of Cochin and the Caucasians would like that right now. However, a Non-Aggression Pact, with a possible free trade agreement, is a good place to start."
