Zoot Zoot Posted September 5, 2009 Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 The Malvinian Military has handed over the schematics to a Number of gunsmiths and Iron foundries and placed orders for 200 of these large Anti Naval and long range Artillery cannons. here is the Prototype Cannon Specifications Barrel length 50 calibers (67 ft, 20 m) Caliber 16 in (406 mm) Carriage M1919 Barbette, fixed Traverse 215° (Btry. Hamilton) Effective range 44,680 yards (40,855 m) Completion doesnt be expected of these smoothbore Cannons for another 3 months ( OOC 12 Rl days) The prototype was build in Secret and has been Mounted on Volunteer Point as a signal Cannon for National Events. The prototype Cannon was not designed for sustained use as an offencive weapon and after being Mounted shall be Downgraded to fire "Blank rounds" so that its Noise will be heard, but it poses no danger to anybody. Zoot Zoot Posted September 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 Project Cannon completion% Completion of the Gun emplacments has been completed, concrete bunkers and platforms have been constructed at undisclosed locations around the Malvinas Island. 100% complete Completion of the Weaponry is at 33% Completion of Gun carriages is at 53% Specifications of the Bunkers: *Reinforced Concrete Bunkers -Steel reinforcment -Deep embedding within the cliffs *Extensive Tunnel Network on the Northern Cliffs and under Volunteer Point.
