Overview

The Northeast People's Republic was founded after the death of the last Manchu Qing Emperor, Aisin Guido. His death ended 6,000 years of dynastic rule in China, starting with the Shang and Xia long ago. The Northeast People's Republic is based on the principles of free-market socialism, where the working man has the opportunity to prove himself, but the society and government will be there for anyone in their time of need. We are members of Comintern, and strive to actively promote Communist and Socialist parties similar to our own across the globe.

The head of government is the Premier, who coordinates the various state departments and organs that make daily life and social welfare possible for its 50 million citizens.

Military - Army

The Northeast People's Liberation Army is the central defense against foreign influence in the Northeast People's Republic. The nexus of the armed forces is the NPLA Standing Committee, which directly answers to the Politburo. The NPLA is an all-volunteer force, boasting 450,000 personnel. They are responsible for the defense of the Northeast People's Republic, as well as disaster response and infrastructure development. Rigorous training lasts over a year, indoctrinating the soldiers with nationalistic pride and an unconquerable spirit of loyalty. Meanwhile arms contractors throughout the nation equip them with state of the art technology. They utilize several small and medium arms, mainly focusing on the AK-103 rifle. Anti-tank support is provided through the Scorpion shoulder launched missile. Anti-aircraft support is provided through highly mobile S-400 SAM battalions spread among the troops, effectively protecting the surrounding airspace against all but the stealthiest fighters (F-22 + F-35s can be detected). The Army also operates a large amount of armored vehicles, mainly the T-98 MBT. Their combined numbers total over 3900. The Army, responsible for organization, has divided the nations into several military districts, responsible for their own defense and the achievement of several goals and roles. The Northeastern Military district, in Jilin and Heilongjiang, are responsible for border maintenance and disaster relief, while the the Capital Military district, in Hebei, Tianjin, and Beijing, are responsible for the defense of the capital. Liaoning Military district defends the de facto capital and the shipyards.
