Firestorm
Government Organizations The Central Government Office- Located in M'Bossa This is the physical location of the central government where my day to day work takes place. It is here the supervisors of the various newly formed branches of government will meet and organize on a daily basis. Some of our governmental duties have enough overlap that communication is vital to ensure that resources are not wasted. The Central Government Office exists to ensure that the heads of the government organizations and their staffs are sharing resources rather than hording them and to facilitate communication between them. The new government organizations are: The Office of Community Medical Care -To provide medical care to the communities of the Republic and medical instruction in first aid, hygiene, and other advanced medical subjects. The Directorate of Security -To oversee the security of the Republic and to direct intelligence operations as needed. The following assets are at this Directorate's disposal: A-The Republic of Free Somal Constabulary- Tasked with border and internal security enforcement-Initial infantry training conducted by the Republic's Military training program. (1400 men/ 4500 total manpower requirements) B-The Republic of Free Somal External Intelligence Office- Initial training to be conducted by the Republic's Military program- Provides industrial, economic, political, and military intelligence through a variety of means. The Community Government Program The Office of Education- Tasked with organizing, maintaining, supplying, and training teachers for the Republic's community schools. The Office of Higher Education- Responsible for organizing the University of M'Bossa and other higher education programs. The Government Extension Office- The community workers will begin the process of formally organizing local governments. They will also serve as postal workers, justices of the peace when needed for minor crimes, and advisers to local government. The Republic of Free Somal Military The military all undergoes the exact same basic introduction training of ten weeks. This training prepares them for service in the various branches of the Republic military. It focuses on decision making, physical conditioning, basic light infantry skills, marksmanship, and other essential skills required of a soldier in the service of the Somal people. Upon graduation they will undergo their advanced training with their assigned units. The military works on a unified chain of command that seeks to avoid some of the issues associated with other conventional forces who have distinct branches for their armed services. The Bureau of Internal Management Tasked with maintaining and improving the roads, public works, government property, and the acquisition of equipment to fulfill these duties. Community Governing Initiative In order to better serve the people of the Republic the government has been ordered to decentralize when possible. This is more often seen in terms of schools, police, and emergency services. This keeps the access to the government at the local level rather than making it an unapproachable monolithic organism out of reach of the average Somal citizen.
