chris447
A Month of Openness! Open Sourcers, Honored Friends, Vox and FAN Spies, One moth ago, the Open Source Alliance declared its existence to the Cyberverse, under the watchful eye and protective wings of our great friends and supporters, the Phoenix Federation. Since that time, despite the loss of one of our largest and most experienced members, we have more than doubled in membership and increased our NS by 25%, no small feat considering that all our new members have been brand new or comparatively young nations. Despite our enlargement, which we hope will continue, we have not sacrificed the sense of camaraderie and cooperation upon which we were founded. Our new members have integrated themselves seamlessly into the Alliance structure, built new friendships with our older members, and become active contributors in every sense of the word. OSA’s first month was not without incident: only 10 days after our foundation on King Myateo, a veteran of 5 wars, attacked one of OSA’s newest members, Thorax citing the most comical of CBs: “inhumane treatment of citizens”. Despite having to sell infra to help their alliance mate, King Mayteo was successfully destroyed and removed as a threat to both the OSA and Planet Bob at large. The vigilance of our membership also prevented, on more than one occasion, dangerous and disruptive elements from gaining entry to our alliance and access to our information. While the OSA is officially a multi colored alliance, and will continue to be so until our membership desire a change in that policy or we reach a size where it becomes economically and political advantageous for us to choose a single sphere, we nonetheless have expressed and will continue to express a strong preference for the Black and White teams, and have decided to lend our support to the senate candidates of Umbrella, and our protectors TPF respectively. OSA Nations on Aqua have pledged their support to the candidate of the neutral Democratic Oder. In the next month, the OSA remains committed to working towards its goal of 35 members and 1 Million combined NS in 75 days, and I am confident that despite some initial set backs and a bit of a slow start we will be able to meet this goal and win our bet with Olympus! A day before our anniversary I created an imaginary “typical OSA Nation” using the data of all member nations at the time the result was most impressive for a brand new alliance where fully half of the membership had been playing the game for around a month’s time: Next month I hope to be able to share even more impressive statistics and goings on, as well as present a more powerful and imposing “typical OSA nation” Nolissar of Ripoaria, President of the Open Source Alliance Diplomats Please Post this in all OSA Embassies
