It's not so much the price, it's the efficiency of using a slot for less than $3 million. I do buy tech for $3M/50 tech, but only intra-alliance. Most people buying at rates lower than $3M/100 tech are only doing it to help out the lil' guys in their alliance, same goes for $2M/50 tech. I must have gotten lucky, I'm not in any alliance, just picked those guys up off the forum. I wish I could get more 50 tech for 3 mil buyers.
