The Greatest Assembly of Femocratic Lands

The Greatest Assembly shares with the two Empresses the legislative power in Femocratic Lands (the executive power is instead an unlimited prerogative of the Empresses).
After their election, the representatives held office for four years.
Greatest Assembly meetings and debates take place every day from Monday to Thursday, but deliberations can take place only at the presence of the Empresses, on Tuesday and Thursday.
To become law, a deliberation requires a majority vote of the Greatest Assembly, plus the favorable vote of at least one of the two Empresses. It's worth to note that a deliberation cannot become law without a favourable vote by the Greatest Assembly.
Each region of Femocratic Lands have representatives within the Greatest Assembly.
The number of representatives of each region varies according the population of the region, however each region cannot have less than 3 representatives, and no more than 9 representatives.
The election to the Greatest Assembly is so helded: for each region a list of candidates whom total number is the double of the available seats (that means: 6 candidates for the smaller regions, 18 candidates for the larger regions) is submitted to the local Amazons directly by the Empresses: Empresses choose the candidates just only by lottery, within all Amazons of the region. Then all Amazons of each region vote to select their representatives in the Greatest Assembly - vote of Amazons is compulsory and not secret - in each region Amazons select a number of representatives that range from 3 representatives out of 6 for the smaller regions, to 9 representatives out of 18 for the larger regions. The electoral campaign lasts 90 days, and each candidate have the right to have exactly the same media coverage of all other candidates within the same region - a very fair division of media coverage of all candidates is ensured by the fact that during electoral campaign political propaganda is allowed just only within proper political spaces and times: i.e. during the election campaign each television channel is required to daily held four hours of tranmission exclusively devoted to political forum, and spaces and times inside the transmission provided to each candidate are exactly the same for all candidates, and absolutely free for all candidates.

On the right of the photo it's worth to note an armored grey building that is part of the headquarters of the Imperial Guards, six brigades of elite Amazons troops whose combat effectiveness is even superior to "A" class divisions (Amazons divisions are divided in classes: "A" is the top, "B" the standard, "C" the reserve).
Like the rest of the Palace of Eternal Sun and Rain, the Greatest Assembly building is costantly supervised and protected by snipers of the Imperial Guards, of which there aren't available photos but just only artistic renderings, like that:
