Their leader has issued a stern warning to the Novakian government, as well as the Jews and Muslims of the country, that they will attack and conquer those who oppose them. After many months of securing major cities, towns, oil fields and the borders, the citizens of these provinces overwhelmingly voted in favor of becoming individual states within Novak once again. After the results were confirmed by the Ministry of Interior, leaders of the provinces were declared interim governors until an election could be held. Local leaders in Bahrain would not notice the administrative change, aside from new contacts to ensure stability in their region. Qatari leaders approved the protection in an economic agreement last week. Aden - The African League struck a deal with the Japanese government over islands in the South Indian Ocean, after a bizarre attack by the Norse government on the Japanese fleet. The deal, which turned the islands over to the African League, reportedly cost $10 billion. Further plans for the islands are currently classified. Started four months ago, government buildings are expected to be completed by the end of the year. City officials, carried over from Riyadh, have stated they are taking bids from domestic and foreign companies to build on vacant properties around the city. The bidding process will end when all vacant properties are purchased and approved by the national government. The government has made it clear that nations with sanctions in place by Novak or allied nations will not be able to bid on properties until the sanctions are lifted.Doha – The search for Essa Reid, leader of the terrorist group known as The Lord’s Sword, came to an end last week when members of the Novaki Army shot and killed the high-profile face of the movement in a shootout outside a training facility on Suwad al Janubiyah. According to military officials, a fireteam chased Reid close to the coast, where he opened fire on the men intending to capture him. The fireteam, in response, fired back. Bullets struck Reid and his two bodyguards, instantly killing all three men. As a part of the offensive against Reid, the army captured hundreds of members of The Lord’s Sword. A trial will begin tomorrow to determine guilt and sentencing. The prosecutor is pushing for the stripping of citizenship from all those found guilty and the death penalty. NMRA, the military’s research agency, created a bracelet that detects a person’s unique heart wave, which will be used as that person’s specific identifier for access to restricted networks, buildings, rooms and other classified areas. The bracelets can be assigned to a specific person and can only be used by that person, so if it is stolen it cannot be used by the thief. The government hopes this will aid in protecting classified assets from human infiltration, while boosting efficiency. NMRA expects this technology to be fully integrated by the end of the month. Aden – In response to the death of Essa Reid, the government of Novak has put the country on high alert. This means all waters are hereby closed to all allied and non-allied military vessels, as well as shipping vessels, without explicit prior permission. All entrances to Novak, through border or airport crossings, will be on alert and will conduct more thorough searches of bags, cargo and vehicles. Until the threat is lowered, we encourage everyone to respect our waters and borders as we handle the threat from this highly organized terrorist group. The carrier group stationed on the island would be deployed to patrol the open waters of the East Indian, south to Heard and McDonald. The destroyer squadron would patrol from Diego Garcia to Socotra. Both would be fully armed. The long-range radar system would be on alert for all vessels and aircraft operating in the region. Land-based surveillance aircraft would start making long range patrols over the Indian. Sea-based surveillance aircraft would do the same near the carrier group as they moved between the islands. Socotra & Seychelles These islands would be placed on high alert, with the same mobile defense systems called into action. Radar and reconnaissance equipment on the islands would begin tagging anomalies, while airborne patrols would begin from military bases in the region. Heard & McDonald The radar equipment began fully operating for the first time and was working in conjunction with Diego Garcia and Carthage assets to maintain eyes on the Indian. The island was not placed on high alert, but was instructed to watch and report on any movements in the region. Air and sea defenses would be placed on alert. Gaza The carrier group attached to Gaza was mobilized and place on high alert. Surveillance missions would begin in the Mediterranean and over Gaza, but remain out of combat range, in order to prevent a surprise assault on the tiny territory. Mobile, land-based Anti-ship systems, Iron Dome, Aster systems, Arrow 2 systems and Patriot systems would be placed on alert, as well as ground defenses. Bahrain & Qatar As the fighting with The Lord’s Sword died down, the mission shifted to attack prevention. The likelihood of an attack on Bahrain or Qatar was slim, but there was no chance to waste. The mobile systems deployed to Gaza were deployed in Bahrain and Qatar as well. Civilians were allowed to continue living freely in both territories, as the systems would be deployed outside major civilian centers. Novak Proper Novak Proper would mobilize for possible attacks, with Iron Dome, Arrow 2 missile systems, Aster missile systems and Patriot Missile Systems being placed into mobile positions in Sudan, the Horn, along the Red Sea and on Arabia. Mobile anti-ship systems would be set up near the coasts of the Red Sea and the Indian, as well as the Persian Gulf. The combination of The Lords Sword and the conflicts embroiling Europe and Asia has put Novak is a precarious position, according to the Admiral in a press conference. Admiral Kochavi has announced the Interim Council has voted to make him the Commander-in-Chief of the military, Chancellor of the Republic and voted to dissolve the Majlis al-Shura. The Admiral has stated the new cabinet will be announced by the end of the week.In response, civilians and military personnel alike have begun organizing protests. The largest of which is planned for downtown Amal, where it is rumored at least a thousand people will be attending. Amal Police have made it known they will be there to monitor the situation and arrest lawbreakers.Doha - Qatar, Bahrain and Gaza held a referendum to join the Novaki nation as fully-fledged states within the country. The results were accepted by the Ministry of Interior prior to Admiral Kochavi taking control of the federal government. The integration process will begin by the end of the year.**Classified**Through Persia, three F-23 squadrons, five F-15K squadrons and 5 B-2 bombers were sent to Uriankhai, per the defense agreement. Another 20,000 soldiers would be sent to the region in order to protect the mainland of Novaks newest ally.Heard and McDonald was recently resupplied as soldiers from the Diego Garcia patrol reached the island. The staff were replaced with a fresh battalion as the previous deployment as coming to a close. After a few days, the ships would begin patrolling the Indian Ocean again. Upon confirmation of fallen governments, Novakian troops would move in to secure the regions, especially the Cape and the Suez Canal with 10,000 soldiers a piece in each location. **Public** An African protectorate would be announced over the former countries of FUSAR and Alexandria.The Suez Canal is now a protectorate of Novak. In order to preserve the state and the military, the Admiral would order the start of Project Sentry. The project, designed to prevent munition stockpiles from being depleted in an all-out war scenario. The satellite network would be greatly expanded, to include improved surveillance, communication and GPS capabilities, with backup satellites in case of the destruction of any part of the network. The Anti-Air Defense Network would be expanded and improved with more missile interceptors, drones, anti-air missiles and other measures to compliment the in-use Iron Dome, Aster, Arrow and Patriot systems. Anti-sub measures would be taken in the Red Sea and in the EEZ of Novak. These measures would be taken in Diego Garcia, Seychelles, Heard & McDonald and the Suez as well. Rapid production would begin on all missiles, satellites, drones, chemical weaponry and various reserves needed for the military to function in a time of war. In coordination with the Carthage government and Project Tricent, Sentry would draw on the energy and raw material wealth of Novak as well as the raw materials in African protectorates. Corporations with no obvious ties to Novak would be set up in the protectorates to facilitate the acquisition of the needed materials for the Project. Taking the fall of the Japanese imperialists as a sign of a power vacuum, He would send in 50,000 soldiers as well as the Diego Garcia fleet to Australia. The protectorate would be announced as well. **Private** The government began incorporating the military structure into the civil structure so the two would blend seamlessly. This process would see the end of political squabbling in the country as well as cut down on costs the government faces by maintaining two separate structures for the civilian and military worlds.
