The funds to enable the reactivation of these facilities will be provided from the Defense Budget allocation. -5,000 additional Frontier Guard Corps personnel will be deployed to the Yugoslav border to boost border security during the State of Emergency. No notification shall be sent to Yugoslavia. -Zapadnayan airspace will be closed to all aircraft with the exception of the Burgas-Varna North-South corridor which shall remain open for civilian air traffic coordinated by the Zapadnayan Civil Aviation Authority (ZCAA) only. Imperator Azenquor Posted October 13, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) ***Military Preparations*** Under the 11th Presidential decree 5,000 additional Frontier Guard Corps personnel would be moved to the Yugoslav-Zapadnayan border to bolster the existing personnel in the area. The Frontier Guards would devote the bulk of their efforts to securing the border and preventing infiltration. The Zapadnayan Army would not simply watch from their barracks as conflict moved ever closer to the country. All military installations in the west of the country would be placed on the highest level of alert. Military personnel based at Fort Achelois (Montana), Fort Atropos (Pernik), Fort Boreas (Blagoevgrad) and Fort Aether (Sofia), would be given urgent orders by the Defense Ministry: ***Military Orders for Western Military District (Urgent/Classified)*** All military units in the Western Military District are to remain on the highest level of alert until further notice. It is absolutely of the highest priority that Zapadnaya’s western border remain secure. -Operation Constant Vigilance- The 2nd Field Army (60,000 personnel) is ordered to deploy to the Western border region without delay. The 2nd Field Army, in conjunction with the civilian Frontier Guard Corps shall create a 35 km exclusion zone from the Yugoslav border inward and shall deny access to this exclusion zone. Civilians living in the exclusion zone are to be temporarily evacuated to the interior for the duration of the military exercise. Given the mountainous terrain at the Blagoevgrad-Delcevo and Kyustendil-Kriva Palanka border crossings, the 25th Infantry Brigade and the 26th Infantry Brigade respectively shall be deployed to secure those areas. Given the more favorable terrain at the other border crossings, Armored Infantry battalions shall be deployed to secure those areas as follows: Bregovo [27th Armored Infantry Brigade] Dimitrovgrad-Tsaribrod [28th Armored Infantry Brigade] Kalotina-Gradinje [29th Armored Infantry Brigade] Negotin [30th Armored Infantry Brigade] Petrich-Novo Selo [31st Armored Infantry Brigade] Strezimirovci [32nd Armored Infantry Brigade] To avoid any unfortunate accidents, the Brigades deployed to the border regions will remain no closer than 15 km from the actual border. Patrols by the Frontier Guard Corps will continue to take place along the border as normal. === As the first military units moved into position, they would practice positioning tank traps and anti-tank teams at the 60 m mark along each usable roadway from the border. The reaction and deployment times would be noted by the Defense Ministry and plans would be adjusted accordingly. As soon as the first troops participating in the exercise left their bases, the Zapadnayan government would send a message to Yugoslavia stating that the government would be undertaking a series of military exercises in the area and that the border would be temporarily closed for 72 hours. The evacuation of civilians from the exclusion zone is well advanced and will be completed within 24 hours. ***Classified Orders to the Gendarmerie*** In support of the military exclusion zone, the Gendarmerie is hereby ordered to mobilize 80,000 personnel. These personnel shall be tasked with denying access to the military exclusion zone by the civilian population and by unauthorized personnel. Deployments should begin from Gendarmerie stations in the west and from the reserves. Imperator Azenquor Posted November 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted November 7, 2014 [b][u]Ministry of Defense Order (Classified)[/b][/u] In order to aid in the streamlining of the arms production process, the Ministry of Defense hereby orders the following armaments production agencies to be merged into a single entity: -Zapadnaya Rocket Guidance Bureau -Zapadnaya Rocketry Production Bureau -Tons O’ Projectiles Inc. -Sharp Knives & Explodey Things Ltd. The four agencies shall operate under the control of the newly created Zapadnaya Rocketry Systems (ZRS) and shall be given the mandate to design, develop and produce short, medium and long range rockets as required for both civilian and military use as specified by the government. Rocketry production facilities currently under the control of Zapadnaya Aerospace Research (ZAR) are exempted from this order and shall continue to operate independently. Imperator Azenquor Posted January 14, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) ***Presidential Decree #13*** Understanding the level of administrative and political paralysis impacting the nation, and the need for strong political action and economic reforms, the Presidency expresses its support for the request of the Prime Minister to dissolve the National Assembly. However, given the key tasks which the next government must undertake, and the lack of a strong single party majority in the Senate, the Presidency has decided that a snap election for both legislative chambers is the best course of action. Therefore, H.E. the President of the Republic hereby dissolves the National Assembly and the Senate in line with the powers granted to the Presidency by Article 44 of the Constitution of Zapadnaya.
