Article I Both nations of Zambia and Borneo-Sumat recognize their right to sovereign independence. As such, neither nation will interfere with the other in a way that violates this sovereignty or threaten it. . Article II In the event either nation is attacked, the other will defend it at all costs. Zambia and Borneo-Sumat will wage war together in the defense of each other. . Article III Both nations will secure trade across the Indian Ocean via international sea lanes and protect such trade from any threat that imposed upon it. . Article IV If any nation wishes to cancel the MDP it must publicly announce as such and the treaty will remain in effect for 24 hours. . Signed for Zambian Federal Republic .
