From: Viktor Gariboldi, Magistrate of American Affairs
To: Stephan Pino, Chief Diplomat of West Virginia

Mister Pino,

On behalf of my government I would like to formally invite you to a meeting in New Orleans with myself and my fellow Magistrate of Technology Silvia Renaldi. Our experts have pointed out West Virginia holds several great minds in the field of designing space ships yet is lacking in the infrastructure, resources and space to truly bring these projects to greater heights. It is in line with this that we would like to discuss a cooperation where we could join forces and design and develop a space fleet that could rival any power.

Sincerely,
Viktor Gariboldi
Stephan Pino will be flying to New Orleans once he has finished packing his stuff in Merida. It is estimated that he will arrive in 14 Hours. However in the Meantime he will be briefed on relevant Information from Grunder Industries.

14 Hours Later

Stephan had just disembarked the Luxurious Grunder 7700SST when 2 waiting West Virginian Liasons pulled up in a Wrangler to escort him to the meeting.

Once the plane entered Athenian airspace Air Traffic Control would safely guide it to an isolated gate which had specifically been reserved for the Chief Diplomat. As soon as it landed the bridge would be extended and Viktor would wait on the end of the airport. Of course with the proper security to make sure no one without authorization could approach either.

"Welcome to the Athenian Federation mister Pino. I hope you had a comfortable flight. Magistrate Renaldi is waiting in the government tower for us."

"It was a short flight, but thank you for your concern. I look forward to the discussions, and hope that both parties dreams and aspirations for this meeting can be made. However if you do not mind, could we take a stop at a rest-room, I really dislike using the ones on planes."

"Of course" Viktor said pointing at one of the High Guard. "The guard will escort you to a rest room"

Once Viktor and Stephan were in the car the drive to the Government Tower would begin, a relatively long one as the airport was on a significant distance from the central business district. Once there they would be further escorted to an elevator that took them to one of the top floors and a dedicated conference room made for government officials. There Silvia was also waiting already.

"Mister Pino, this is Magistrate Renaldi. Directly overseeing the Hellenic Space Agency and indirectly the Hellenic Space Forces." Viktor said taking a seat at the table. "It is a pleasure" Silvia said before oferring Stephan a hand and after that herself taking a seat. Once Stephan also sat down at the table he would be offered a drink after which the talks could begin. "As said in my message I believe Athens and West Virginia can be of mutual benefit. We have an extensive network of structures in space and an even greater network on Earth. From launch loops and heavy lifters in our own territory to a joint effort with Umbrella and cooperation with Tianxia. You yourself have an unique set of experts and professional companies. I believe a lot is possible here today."

What Specifically is Athens looking to do, from what I understand Grunder Industries has a great deal of Theoretical, and Hypothetical Designs for when we eventually go into space, nothing anywhere near as advanced or large that Athens itself has built such as its great battlestar.

"It is just these theories and hypotheticals we need. We have a Battlestar, and other designs but each of these came with years of research and development. We are also lacking in vessels capable of mass serial production. A Battlestar is a message, it deals a punch and should be the backbone of any serious effort should there ever be such a thing as space war we are significantly lacking in smaller vessels and ingenious systems. While a lot of designs may eventually prove ineffective those that do will revolutionize spaceflight as we know it." Silvia replied.

"Well we would set up a platform that would allow designs from yourself to quickly reach the industrial and launch networks Athens and her partners in space has set up. As this arrangement would give your government and private corporations unrestricted access to those networks it makes it easier for yourself to construct and launch space vessels for your own programs."
