Magnus would nod and grunt "Hmm...we need to at the very least open up communications with our Hanseatic cousins. We have not yet had any official interactions with this state but if it's anything like it's historical predecessor it should be a very open-minded, if not highly independent state." We would be interested in flying a diplomatic envoy into Hamburg to open up dialogue between our two states. Additionally we would like to discuss the territorial status of Österbotten & the Åland Islands which both hold largely Swedish speaking peoples inside of their borders. We do not presume to make any demands at this hour given both of our states are newly risen but we would like to open up dialogue along those lines as it is important to us to know the status and condition of those peoples. Lastly, we would be interested in negotiations regarding trade rights between our nations to ensure new avenues of prosperity for both our fresh states.
