But yeah to echo what everyone has already said: join an alliance. You won't get far at all without one, since you will recieve no aid, have no idea how to work the war system or how to make your nation larger, and will often be targeted for tech/land raids and/or for target practice.

Anyway my attempts; im no artist or whatever but I did these at school for the hell of it (had no internet so couldnt play games) xD
