I don't see where anyone but NPO members themselves get off actually judging the breaching of the surrender terms. The fact of the matter is that FAN broke them, and by our sovereignty we judged them to be broken, and as such we used that same sovereignty (the bit that mpol declared we had lost earlier, apparently) to wreck his alliance.
mpol, you say that FAN is achieving their goals still. What are those goals?

We gave you a chance to handle things diplomatically when we allowed you to surrender. You shouldn't have agreed to the terms if you were planning to have over 100 nations violate them (and even if you discount those violators between 21-25% troop levels, there are still well over 60 of them).
Well what you could have been done is attack only those nations that violated. It would even seem reasonable and for nations with troop levels between 20% and 25% to pay a fine.
But the NPO & Gang® decided that the military route, which in the long run may turn out to be better for them.

Of course the NPO is only after power. They are the internet manifestation of The Prince. I'm not calling them bad people, that's just how they roll, and you have to except that.

You told people to withhold money until we changed the terms. Threatening Moo with refusal to do something unless he did something first is blackmail. This is what you were banned for.
I always thought blackmail had to do with threatening to reveal damning information unless certain demands were met. By your definition, a union strike is blackmail, and I think the majority of people would disagree with that.

When I look at the exposed spy list, I see a lot of people from major alliances using spies. Not on unaligned nations, but on other alliances, and even there own alliance. Yet I have not seen a lot of rabbling on it.

Im sick of seeing these threads and accusations everywhere with Nazi this and Nazi that. Will people honestly give it a rest and grow up. Its an online game and im sick of seeing these Nazi accusations being thrown round without a second thought.
If you want to get rid of possible Nazi's in CN, don't make a thread attracting attention about it. Report it to moderation and administration.
Honestly, get a life and try to enjoy this online game using your IC. As far as im concerned there is no such thing as Nazi's IC in CN so please give it a rest.
If you're talking about the CDS thing, it was not so much they were Nazis, as they disintegrated an alliance like a parasite infestation.

So are you allowed to fight wars on your own terms, so long as the nation you are attacking is not in an alliance, and assuming alliance wars where not on the horizon?

I usually have my defcon level at 3, which is really the worst possible now that I think about it. So this gives reason for me to continue my horrible strategy.

NPO redeclares on FAN

The fact that a claimed 1/3 were in violation and FANs supposed lack of control is irrelevant. The larger picture is that the NPO violated their surrender terms to FAN by declaring war on the whole alliance, even though it was individual nations that would be dealt with as stated in the original surrender terms. 3/4th of FAN could have been violation of the surrender terms, that would still not legally give the NPO the right to declare all out war on all of FAN under the surrender terms. The NPO broke their deal with FAN, and get off because they are stronger. The NPO broke their legally binding treaty with FAN, they did not honor the surrender terms.
There is no legal basis for this war. The NPO broke two main clauses of the agreed surrender terms since FAN was a protectorate of the NPO at the time of the declaration. They violated their own surrender terms laid out to FAN. They also violated FAN’s trust.
Now you may be saying "Well they are strong and have the right to declare war, or break treaties". This is true, but the act of treaty breaking is a extreamly dishonorable act, especially if war is involved, and who is constantly touting honor? Not only was a treaty violated, FAN was a protectorate, that should be a signal enough that these are not people of honor. The NPO has claimed their goals is not power, be it political or statistically, but honor. These actions show otherwise. Might never makes right, it just makes it seem that way.
